I have a 09 Softail, with the less complicated and less expensive R&R kit . It is a solid axle, with gas coil over shocks , air ride. I no longer go on long runs anymore, just around the city. The trike kit has 47 thousand miles, with the bike having 50 k before the conversion. The paint is still beautiful as it just came out of the paint shop. Great video! As a new to me 2018 Honda Goldwing DCT Motor Trike owner myself (had it for 6 months), one tip that was pasted on to me was to remember that your back end is wider now. Remember that when pulling into the gas station where the pumps are sitting on high curbs to not to pull in too close. It could potentially catch on the running broads and damage them. One can’t pull in as close to the pumps as you would while being on two wheels. Again, great video and thank you for sharing. I really appreciate your channel.

As an old-time dirt bike rider who switched at one point to a Honda ATC ('85 ATC350X still in the garage!), I can attest that not putting your foot down takes a little getting used to, along with all the other different skills required to ride a three-wheeler. It's a different experience that takes getting used to. I walked the showroom floor twice, tried on a few helmets, and took a few pics of bikes that I liked before I left the store (approx 15-20 mins total). Most of the salesmen were just hanging around the sales desk while just one was actually helping a customer. I have purchased from DFW Honda a few times, so it is a shame to see the customer service decline the way it has. Why doesn't anybody ask if the trike has a limited slip differential? Instead we learn that there is a light in the trunk. Mine was a constant headache. The chrome on the wheels flakes off even if waxed and polished. I replaced the two front wheels and a year later the flaking/peeling started again. Fenders cracked at attachment points. The front storage area will lock on you so no entry! I sold it and bought a 2019 Goldwing. I would like to covert to a Honda Trike sooner than later but being in adapting Beach….who warranties the Trike portion?etc…

Cory, I contacted DFW Honda and they said they can get a kit to you. Contact Jacob at service@dfwhonda.com or +1-214-421-HONDA.

😮 yeah but look at the price on them trikes on gold wings I mean nobody can afford them they're nice and I think I would probably handle them but you can't afford them

Way too expensive. I have a Harley trike and those are 10-30 thousand more. Just not worth it. Tire wise the front will wear out about 3-1 on the back tires. The backs just don’t wear hardly at all. Great bikes if you can afford them I guess.

But this has a rear suspension, air ride, which will cost you extra $$$. HD Tri Glide is $40K. Also this is automatic. I’m actually really debating between the two and don’t know which one to buy.

California sidecar is a far superior and better-looking trike trike conversion.

motortrike isn't a very good trike, Poor design & problems. Air suspenion will leak overtime to

Looking for a Trike, is that from experience?

For all the money you spend on a Goldwing and a trike conversation kit, I'd just buy a nice used Cotvette or a new Mazda Miatia.
