Wait… you didn’t put the second seal in (the dust seal)? Leave them out altogether?

Did the parts for the rebuild come in a kit? or did you purchase them separately? If it was a kit, can you post where you purchased it and how much? Thanks for the helpful video.

I rebuilt mine last summer and I did not use the brake quiet. Why? Cause it sticks to the pistons and makes a damn mess all over your newly conditioned parts and is wholly unnecessary. The spring clips hold the pads apart and keeps them able to move like they should. That stuff makes em stick onto whatever it touches and is a giant PIA to remove later. I also use grease (red mobil) TO LIGHTLY LUBE THE SEALS AND PISTONS like you did with the oil cause its what I already had. (came with the kit). That powder coating is a fine job. Painted mine with caliper paint and highlighted the Honda in a contrasting color (Gold on Black)
