I lost some business due to my GX200 giving out (I have it set up as part of a mobile car wash unit) and found this video deep in KZbin, and it worked! Thank you.

Spent 6 hours yesterday trying to figure it out. Then today we’re like “let’s just KZbin it”. Thank you so much

Dude, you saved me so much money and time with this video. Thank you! I rented a plate compactor from Home Depot. Got it home and it kept stopping. Called Home Depot, they were useless and asked me to come exchange it. I checked the oil and it was good. Then after watching this I unplugged the yellow oil wire sensor and it worked fine after that. I plugged it back in when I returned it and told them what the problem was. Also kudos to you for not adding a 5 minute preamble to your video and getting straight to the point. So many youtubers unnecessarily turn a 2 minute video into a 10 minute video

Thank you, I was going nuts my GX200 would run great and just die but then start back up, this was the problem.

If your GX200 engine spits, sputters, backfires, and possibly runs fine intermittently or maybe not run at all, check the spark plug boot for arcing between the boot and valve cover. Mine was doing this and had me stumped until I started it after dark and saw the arcing. You can slip a thin piece of plastic like a milk jug in that area to confirm this. Thus was on a almost new pressure washer.

The sensor is easy to replace but the switch is inside the crankcase and seems a bit longer job than a few minutes
