The HR-V certainly does not weigh 2,2 tons, but 1450 kg (including driver). And the previous model also had the tank under the seat. Also, if you order now (and even if you have ordered in March 2022 and have not yet received your car), the 2023 Advance Style models do not get the 10 speaker sound system and the boot lid sensor. Poor research!

The UK version is the one I would buy, the grill looks better, you can get 2 tone color , a more colorful interior plus 5 seats! Unfortunately, in AUSTRALIA, we get, not 3, only one variant in the Hybrid model and it's a 4 seater.

A very good car. Good quality and should prove to be very reliable. Much better long term buy than a Puma, Captur any Stellantis or VW group equivalent.

I am expecting my HRV any day now having waited since June. With so many competitors on the market now I have wondered if I had made the right choice! This review has reinforced my view that it is an excellent choice and am looking forward to picking it up. Thank you!

Do you know difference between mild hybrid and hybrid???
@richardsmith5792 жыл бұрын
This Honda is a hybrid. A mild hybrid has a small battery that essentially only helps with moving the car from standstill, obviating the older stop-start system. A hybrid car runs on battery power whenever possible, unless a power boost is required, when, in this Honda, the engine may drive the wheels directly. The Honda has two motors, which I can’t be bothered to explain in detail, but which is actually fairly simple. There is no gearbox as such, with the engine driving the wheels through a simple clutch with a single gear when required. It may also recharge the battery at the same time. I drove this car for quite a long time and the system is very compelling and I got a far better mpg than the tester. The smaller Honda Jazz (the new one) has an identical drive train only the engine produces less power and the battery is smaller. However, the performance is slightly better,as is the economy, as the Jazz is lighter.

Can you please tell me how many miles per tank Honda hrv can run?
@rivervalegroup9 ай бұрын
On average, the Honda HR-V typically has a fuel tank capacity of around 55 to 68 litres. With an estimated fuel efficiency of approximately 25 to 30 miles per gallon (MPG) for city driving and 30 to 35 MPG for highway driving, you can expect the HR-V to run approximately 325 to 525 miles on a full tank of fuel. Keep in mind that actual mileage may vary based on driving habits, terrain, and other factors. For precise information regarding the fuel efficiency of a specific HR-V model, it's best to refer to the vehicle's official specifications or consult with a Honda dealership.

@OsvUkVehicleSupply thank you so much for your reply.. in the UK honda hrv hybrid has 40 litters fuel tank? Same as honda jazz hybrid which I drive and gave me 60 to 70 mpg and 570 miles to 620 miles per tank depending on the weather.. I m interested in hrv hybrid I can buy honda hrv hybrid if it give me at least 500 miles per tank. That's why I was asking

@craigchapman66133 ай бұрын
The engine "mooing" has to be considered comparatively, because the HRV (and Kia Niro) is so quiet otherwise, whereas in many other cars, you already have a loudish engine, so the accelerating noise doesn't stand out so much
@craigchapman66133 ай бұрын
51 (Honda) - 56.5 (Peugeot) mpg ??? What are doing with your right foot ?? I managed 70+mpg on an HRV test drive on mixed roads without trying too hard. My Kia Niro 3 achieves well over 63mpg most of the time, maybe 58-59mpg on the colder wetter days due to battery inefficiency in such weather. Yet I hear of some drivers only getting (eg) 48mpg, even Kia sales reps. Try the squeeze and ease accelerator technique and stop slamming and holding the accelerator like in a normal petrol/diesel car. The best way to learn this technique would be to drive a Mercedes C350e for a couple of months. 40mpg is so hard to achieve in that antiquated system in a V6 2000cc car that probably only achieves 20mpg without the hybrid addition, its a really poor system and you'll need regular fuel stops. In comparison the Niro 3 needs no concentration to double the Mercedes chronic mpg performance and its a nicer car to be in too. Unfortunately I find the newest Niro series to have too much flickering piano black around the cabin, so I'll probably get an HRV next. I'm not sure why this video references the Peugeot and Renault cars, they are park bench buckets by comparison with the Honda HRV.

Don’t understand this at all - no AWD version, small boot - 300 litres of boot space is ridiculous for a car this big - also claims to be 5 seats - has anyone seen the middle one? This guy is 5’8” and has about a foot of knee room but hardly any headroom??? Ludicrous - and yet still a huge footprint of a car. Makes no sense whatsoever

@richardsmith5792 жыл бұрын
My friend is 6’2” and he fits easily front and rear. The boot is big enough and with the seats folded the space is enormous, plus the magic seats are very helpful. Yes it’s a better four seater, but how often do most people have three people in the back, never in my case? It is easy to get in and out of as well, which is essential for me. My current car has four wheel drive and I have never needed it, however, I wish the Honda had Cross-climate tyres, that would be very useful.

It's 330L with a huge space for legs on rear seats and Magic seats, where you can store bags under them and push them up to store big things
