How do check the fluid level is there a dip stick ? How do you know when to change it

U change it every 30k miles. Dipstick? There is none u have over flow port to check once it’s up to level it will over flow

I use only 4 quarts what the honda dealer recommends, plus the car manual states 3.9 quarts.. I know if you put too much oil, your tranmission will get destroyed. I know transmission oil expands as it gets heated , already, transmission has 150,000.

So servicing the transmission on Honda hrv is drain,flush, replace fluid. No filter too change

I just got off the phone with Hall Honda their service dept said there is no serviceable cvt fluid filter

The way I do mine is cvt fluid change every 20000 not 30000 the oil gets black at 20000 and I do filters there 2 filters with oil at every 60000 waiting for more that 20000 is potential damage as the oil breakes down on cvt trans very fast

Thanks a lot for the video, I tried to find the cvt filter for my HRV 2021 to change it in the same time with fluid, seen many KZbins but it seems that it differ with different models, your HRV looks very similar to the 2021 model can you please help me to point where I can find the filter

I don’t like them they r good while they r running reverse is weak and they go out like in a crash when they r ready to die only thing u can do is keep it maintained
