Right on point. My Honda fit hybrid car gives overheat warnings every 15min when the aircon is on.

i also had the same invention on my gaming console... the fans were connected to the back and was using the same power the console was using... but about a week later it constantly was overheating and melted the main power plugin.

How does this help the millions of people that don't live in Virginia? For example, I live on the opposite coast and have an IMA battery problem. Any ideas?

There are several ideas for doing a pro job never attempt to do this unless you know what you are doing - the acid can burn your skin check the voltage first - there may be a dead cell which would waste your time. Check your battery fluid. Try to completely recharge the battery. (I read about these and more using Rapid renew roadmap website )

These are sealed NiMH D cells in those sticks. There is very unlikely to be sufficient fluid leakage to be a danger to skin. There is no fluid to check. You may be thinking of the normal conventional lead acid car battery. Different story, different part of the car, different circuitry.

Does anyone know how much capacity leakage is acceptable? I charge the cell to full, wait a month and charge it again. I have results from 1600mAh to 6800mAh.

i kinda dont understand the point of that invention because i know mark (man in the video) said that they came up with a solution to cool the battery with a couple of fans but... how are those fans going to be powered and what if those fans on the battery causes the battery to overheat even more....

Those fans can be over the counter 12V computer cooling fans. They would be wired into the normal 12V bus system in the car. If there is appropriate ventilation for the hot air to be vented away, they should not cause any additional heating effect. Some high performance electric cars use liquid cooling of both batteries and motors with dedicated radiators.

Has Honda made any improvements in battery cooling on their latest model called Clarity?

The Clarity is a fuel cell vehicle and as such does not use a battery bank of this kind.

I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else trying to find out how to recondition batteries try Megarno Amazing Battery Magician (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cousin got excellent results with it.
