I have a Honda HRD 536, 27 years old, one pull and it starts, also have a Stihl RM448TX, 1 speed and its really ok, very light for a garden with many corners. greetings from Belgium.

Hi Rob I’ve had my Honda easy for about six years found it slow for the first year I discovered I think it’s called the governor spring did three little holes it’s like a piece of wire hooked in the middle hole just move it to the next hole and it will go faster and mine is never let me down I love watching your videos Keep the good work up green Miles garden services my name is Paul

Rob, what do you think of the HRN 536 VY? I like to describe it as the izy after its been in a gym a few months! haha. I think these little Izy's are perfect for that exact size area you're cutting here. They're light and easy to move around, no one wants stripes on a rough patch out the front!

I like them , they appear to be a little more robust than the Izzy.

Hi Rob like your new izy very nice engine they usually are good for small to medium but as a back up brilliant.. Try adjusting the governor spring, manufacturers set the idle too slow.. Still I like your choice Honda engines.... Great video personally I think you have made a good choice

Hi Rob, good review. Can you tell me how is reversing on this mower? I checked a few mowers at the local dealer and some of them with the clutch disengaged (bar released) when moved forward they go nice and smooth, when pulled back from the other hand put up a resistance. How is this one? Thanks.

Reverse was poor. The mower was too slow. I sold it.

Hello Keith. I charge £30 for approximately 150 sq mts. That would be a small front and medium size rear lawn. Time wise, approximately 50 minutes mowing, strimming and leaf blowing. I hope that helps. Good luck with your business.

I see Honda have brought a new redesigned Izy mower out with a GCVX engine now powering it. This one you say was too slow, was that the old model or the new one?

It was the new model. A great mower but slow.

I have since used an 18 inch Izzy , that was a bit quicker. The one I had was awful. I hope that helps.

It’s not a rear roller, it has a rubber flap that leaves a slight stripe. I find the four wheeled mowers more versatile. Thanks 🙏.
