Ok, it's all flat in the region. If you live in a more hilly region like I do, the consumption will be higher. Also the temperature plays a role. I have a longtime average consumption of 5 litre per 100 km with mixed driving (town/motorway/country road).

A more realistic consumption test would be to continue the test route in reverse and finish the test at the starting point.
