I bought mine in May 2023. I'm thinking of getting a full size bike for longer rides, but I will never part with my Monkey. This little bike is so much fun to run around on. I joked to a friend that if it comes to a point that I'm not able to ride anymore, I will drain the gas out of it, and park it in my living room and look at it.🤣🤣🤣

Yeah it definitely looks great inside the house ! I do agree that more speed is required in order for it to replace your main bike. I just wished it achieved 70 without struggle. Maybe a 200cc engine would do it, but then it wouldn’t be as accessible for people. So it’s a good balance I suppose

My thoughts exactly. My wife would have other ideas though. Shame Honda don't do a bigger version like Suzuki did with the VanVan. Would be great and reliable.

Bought my Monkey in June 2023. Have added a T-Rex racing wind shiel, rear rack and center stand. Also the $120 Man in the box rear shocks and mirror extenders to put them further out. I like my bikes quite but would like to find a low exhaust as quite as the stock one. Regularly get between 114-140 miles per gallon.

I got a 125 (Benelli TNT) in December but by April I upgraded to a new 390. 125s are a laugh and cheap to run but most experienced riders will get fed up soon if it’s your only bike. Great video by the way.

Hi Nick your Videos are always confidence inspiring, remember i bought a Honda NC750X at the time of finding you, and ive watched every Bike review you have done, loved them all..I decided to come away from Motorcycles now, and im Heavily into MAXI SCOOTERS...I have a Burgman 400 now and my insurance is going to Blow you away..I pay only £98 per year...YES £98 per year thats Protecting my NCB and is Fully Comp, and includes 1 year RAC Break down service..I do most of the Servicing myself which is Really easy, and i just LOVE the CVT Engineering, no chain to oil and an incased Drive belt, is only changed every 12.500 miles or just over...Now i LOVE the Monkey Bike, and yes they are comfy, but its a tad small for me , but they look so much fun, and you clearly are having so much fun..Safe riding both you and Jodie....

Thanks Keith I’ll never forget your good interactions with comments on my review videos, you’ve been great. I have been looking at the forza 350 but can’t get a demo on one at my local dealer ! I’m interested in higher capacity scooters because of great wind/weather protection, ease of use and good top speed for highways. I’ll keep looking see if I can try one, any other maxi scooters would you consider ?
@keith4usa13 ай бұрын
@@nicksepisode Well to be Honest Nick, my Dream Maxi scooter is the TMAX But for 100cc more than my Burgman and a £14,000 proce Tag they can keep it..I have been watching Various Burgman videos and those things are used all over Touring Europe and America, and i will NEVER part with mine, ive had the brand new 2020 model, but now have a 2014 (Look up that shape) ok its older but higher BHP and its popular for going all over europe and the USA....At present my two sensible favs are the Forza 350 and the Burgman 400 (either older or new model) Check out some KZbin Owners and Trust me it scores High..Let me know Nick...

I like underpowered vehicles, having owned two Citroen 2CVs and one Citroen Dyane. I am an experienced motorcyclist of aound 275,000 miles - bikes of all sizes and power - and fancy a Suzuki VanVan 200 to replace my KTM 390 Duke up here in the far north of Thailand. If I can't find one it will be a Monkey. My big bike is a Yamaha SCR950. Very good review, even if I hate the screen.

Yeah they lower capacity bikes are fun and nimble. The only downside on this monkey is the insurance is stupidly high !

I would like one of these, they look great. Just a bit to big for my motorhome though. Have to make do with a skyteam Monkey at the moment unless I can get folding bars for it. I can only get third party insurance on it as well.

Pretty much how I feel about my 2022. For rear rack I bought the T-Rex Racing Honda Monkey Luggage Rack with integrated Lock Tool box. Quicker access to basic tools. Only other mode I'm looking forward is upgrading the suspension - Which I assume you will be doing in short time as I too am a bigger boy at 230+ pounds...so I'm curious to which choice you will make when the times comes to upgrade yours?
