Not the best day on the trip for us. Trying to sort out a pal in pain but still making the most of it. A&E! What’s happening, but the tour must go on!

John o' Groats is back towards Dunnet Head, you're 6 miles adrift at Duncansby Head Lighthouse. Apart from that, excellent series.

I had no idea there were so many ROC Bunkers. I looked at the map as you suggested and it's absolutely incredible. Can you imagine a modern government building that sort of infrastructure. Some deskbound Civil Servant in procurement would likely order a couple of thousand pop-up tents from Lidl... and do a deal to pay them three time their retail price. Thanks for taking us inside one.

@carbonairpitbikes I obviously looked up my nearest one, which is only half a mile away. Apparently it's in excellent condition and is used by the fire brigade! I shall definitely be seeing if any other local bunkers are more accessible. Thanks again for the insight.

I live over on those little islands up north from Jon o Groats! Just did the nc500 this past weekend and it was brilliant. Been loving the video series 👍

@carbonairpitbikes I hope my stickers are still on there. Did it solo from Hinckley Leicester on my 20yr old Triumph tiger 955i. 3 days 1358 miles. I did the boring east coast on the way up👍

Little bike adventures seem to be all the rage this year , seems like lots of fun 😀 let's hope it catches on . Small capacity seem the way forward , I've just downsized from a B M to a 350cc Royal Enfield Meteor and love it . 😀

@carbonairpitbikes I'll have to get another bike one day and give it a go, I sold the MSX a while back. It was too small for me as I'm over 6' 😅 the seat design pushed you toward the handle bars, very uncomfortable. I sat on a Honda Monkey in a dealers and it felt substantially more comfortable. I've never had friends interested in riding. I've been a solo act most of the time haha

Good on you lads. Old school biker values, look after each other!. Big miles on a bike are hard work. I did the Iron Butt this year on a 411 Himalayan 1006 miles in a day. Ive been toying with a Monkey bike for next year. You guys are definitely selling it to me :)

When your on a tour / adventure/ road trip there is no cheating Hotels are great when you need them the same a motorways people say your cheating if you use a motorway - autoroute - autostrada if you do beucoup miles these come into their own to cover miles when the weather is pants and to recuperate in a little comfort being hardcore all the time can make the whole experience a drag, having a sever shoulder injury in the past frozen shoulder can present itself at anytime and it’s a bitch feel yer pain mate, Pete 🇫🇷
