Great bike. You can also easily slap a 145cc bore kit on it. It really makes a difference. It also works plug and play with the stock injection and stock cylinder head. You can go higher with the cc but then you need to modify the injection and crankcase.

There's a yellow MSX125 which is normally around Barbican during my lunch break or after work. It's a lovely little bike and his is actually really loud when revved! If you couldn't see it (you can't always!), you would mistake it for a much bigger bike.

It costs 2800 pounds there RJ? Wow...I could get one for a bit more than 2000 pounds here in Hungary :) Although I'm still a student and I have a Ninja 300, I badly want one of these little bikes :) I have test ridden one as well, in full leathers, which made it even funkier, but I Ioved every second of it. No need to say that it didn't help with me wanting one :) RJ, I think you had TheSpeckyNerd in one of your Subscriber Spotlights, he has an MSX125 with a lovely exhaust, and I got to him through you...so we could say I can "blame" you for making me want it :P :) Cheers!
@gazsermark10 жыл бұрын
Also, Yuminashi will have a 210 (!) cc kit for the MSX! Considering that with their 180cc kit still in development they reached 157 km/h (obviosuly they changed the sprockets as well) I can't imagine what the 210 cc kit would do to this thing....Surely a bike to surprise people! Still, in its stock form it's just an awesome little bike. :)

just with one rear view mirror is even better to fit into traffic jam. I owned a skyteam monkey's replica during 5 years, in paris, with 107CC engine. 11HP for under 80kg. It was my best vehicule i ever rode, even after HD 883, Suzuki SVS 650 and two audi cabriolet : it simple, it's own the city, and it's fun. So i can't wait to get my future MSX. I already tested it when it comes out from a friend fan of honda. i can't wait to get mine, back to the basics

@84Knuckles9 жыл бұрын
He matches the revs to the gear, when changing up he eased off the throttle then changes gear. Going down you take the bike out of gear and blip the throttle and it'll slide into gear.

its crazy i think even people who hate streetbikes and harleys love groms. they are so unintimidating. im short so ive always wanted a big bike but never liked how i couldnt put both my feet on the ground. like all riders are 6 foot plus. i rode dirtbikes here and there growing up. but ya i just got a grom the other day im a noob though on the streets and on the bike since its been 20 years since i rode but i love it so far. its perfect for the city though here the mph in the city is higher then most at 50mph. so i do wish it was a little faster but it still has good torgue and decent power for what it is. i got mine for 2k us used with 1700 miles 2014 with lots of the smaller mods before it starts to get expensive so i think i got a really good deal compared to how much they are otd here. but i really think they are overpriced brand new because they got popular in the states because they turned every motorcycle under 250cc here into scooters... and this is the first 125 actual motorcycle in like 35-40 years here thats legal for the streets.

serious question.... why dont bikes like this (or every car/bike for that matter) get one more gear as some Kind oft an Overdrive? top speed wont get any highet, especially on those small bikes/cars but you wouldnt be in the limiter, once you hit the Highway all the time.
@mrcaboosevg60898 жыл бұрын
You can buy sprockets for that depending on where you're driving. 125s are made for the city
