After I noticed no difference in top speed in my street tires and the M6024, I put the M6024s back on. They are much more planted on the gravel roads I ride here in West Virginia. Yes, we call small valleys, hollers. My buddy and I both noticed a little "step down" on brand new M6024s on the street, as you go into a lean. It went away in less than 40 miles. The center knobs just have to wear a little bit to match the side knobs, then it's smooth sailing from there. Also, it looks like we are going to get about double the mileage that we expected. Still have a millimeter to go before the wear bars.

To all the people saying it's a motorcycle. The Grom shares the same tire size as must 12" wheeled scooters. So yes these ARE scooter tires. Groms just have small wheels.

Add rubber spacers and heavier oil, much better than nothing and save ~$1000

Kocainum tried that, doesn't work the way people say it does. Just ended up costing me a lot to get the dealership to put everything back together

Kocainum some people swear by it, I couldn't get it to work. If you have a full scale motorcycle shop and you have experience taking apart forks you might get it to also. I don't recommend the mod to s shade tree mechanic tho lol

I have a grom and getting knobby tires wont be enough for offroad. The suspension is way too soft, you'll be bottoming out. Otherwise, it makes for a ridiculously fun bike

Thats stock suspension. Maybe has upgraded springs, but thats probably about it. still only got like 3" of travel.

+Shimaneko Rider Looks stock to me. The Groms comes with that nice bronze/gold color shock. Even has the stock exhaust, and the original fender hanging over the back tire, which is usually the first thing to go.

Hey Hustle, good question, if you look closely in the video you will see the F/R combo is 120/70 - 12 Front, and 130/70 - 12 Rear.

I just put these tires on my Honda Monkey because I ride about 65% on pavement/35% on dirt roads. I've put 100 miles on the M6024s, but they feel 'tippy' to me on pavement. Do I just need to get used to them? Thank you!

@@MaxxisTiresUSA I'm not necessarily experiencing a wobbling sensation; it's as if keeping my balance is more difficult than on the stock tires, so I don't feel confident on them. The rear tire skipped/slid off a ridge on a patched section of pavement at slow speed and I felt like I almost went down. Perhaps I need to lower the PSI? I am a beginner rider. Thanks for any advice!

Thanks for the info. We think what you’re feeling is due to the differences in the tread pattern between the stock tire and the M6024. Since the stock tire’s tread pattern is smooth and closely packed, it likely feels more stable and controlled when riding, while the M6024, with its knobby tread pattern, might yield the sensation you’re describing.
