Finally video evidence that shows there are different size brake springs on some Navis. My springs are smaller diameter but tighter coil.

Nice video, thanks! I feel more confident adjusting my brakes now. Sounds like Bob wanted to be in the video too, lol

I have learned so much from your videos NW Native. Thank you. I was wondering if the adjustments you made, could be made. Now I know. It would seem there is no real need to delete the linked brake system when adjusted as you have done. In my opinion this is the best video related to the brake's system on the Honda Navi. Bob is excited, knows good things are happening and feeling the love. Thank you again, for quality content, fun videos. .

Hey man I appreciate all your videos. For some who might not have the slightest clue where to start, I was wondering if you could possibly make like a list of performance mods to do to the Navi, from what you should do first and then what to do next etc. Like air filter first, variator, exhaust intake, carb re jet. Just for people like me who might not know where to begin. Thanks man!

@@nwnative4139 thank you so much for the info. Would you recommend keeping the stock intake to fit the scooter swap shop carburetor? Or is there a different intake you'd recommend that would fit it?

@@nwnative4139 nice! This may be a silly question but if I were to install the upgraded carb would all the other things you mentioned still be able to work?

For a "safer" ride though, wouldn't I want the rear brake to engage the front brake, at least some? Like by half?

@@nwnative4139 oh,I see, I've never had anything else that was a connected brake system.. I've had 7 two wheel vehicles over the years, this makes number 8 and none of them very long, all cheap and used .. first was a Honda spree when I was a kid, then as a young man I got Suzuki 500 with a decompression kick start, hated it,then a 71 CB175,liked it,but parts were hard to find and the rear wheel was crooked to one side,,so sold it for parts..then a few years ago I got a Yamaha vino scooter, and actually got my endorsement, traded up to a rebel 250,lol, sold it for a washer and dryer.. found a 67 Sears Puch saber,in a Barn find, actually restored it, but there again parts. But man,was it fun. It went to a military base for a "kid" to get around on . then last summer got a Coleman mini bike, had a good time with it, but wasn't street legal, and traded it partially for the Navi.. which.. I really like so far, but don't really have a good understanding of this type of braking system.. so really, I'm kinda a new Rider even though I've had all these other bikes over a 35yr period with years in-between owning them.. it sounds like I should probably loosen that off then so I don't have that kind of issue..
