I am superexcited to get my bike as soon as it is available in Noida, UP. I have CB350 H'Ness too and last 12 months I have not had a single negative thought about reliability of Honda. I personally feel that too many features on the bike is nothing but pain in ''where sun doesn't shine''.

Reliability of Honda is the biggest plus point. Basic instincts matter a lot. Regarding the price..well! It's a mind over the matter game. If you don't mind it doesn't matter.😅😅

I shall buy this one maybe after 5-6 months cause Honda engines are very reliable & smooth. I have Honda stunner which I am using for last 16 years. No issues till date. Engine is still smooth as butter

Few other things that differentiates nx500 from adv390 and him450. 1. NX500 is not top heavy compared to him450. A lot of engineering and physics has gone into it so that the mass is centralized. (both are 196kgs if i'm not wrong). Honda being twin cylinder engine and yet it weighs same as himalayan. Mass centralisation really helps in case of panic breaking and helps to manage weight easily and wont hurt your back. 2. Engine of nx500 is very tractile. Where as both adv390 and him450, lack low end torque. (which also causes engine heating). 3. nx500 comes with a engine immobilizer which both adv390 and him450 lack. (this is a blessing in disguise). 4. Service and parts availability is a big question when it comes to honda though. Both adv390 and him450 have very good parts availability and service network. 5. Relaibilty of a honda engine. I guess there's no need for an explanation.

If they can reduce 1 lakh it makes sense but if not for price it makes complete sense to buy NX500 logically too

If you can wait for some time, you will get very good discount like last time. Previous year, Honda gave a discount of 1.2 lakh Rupees on 500 X.

twin cylinder plus CBU and HONDA reliability and quality and after sale service this is the reason for price. U can compared to splender hero also, (Joking here). It should have been a little than 1 lakh lesser, if the price was less the they would sell more bikes but they didnt wont that keeping in mind Chapri (KTM) style owners away. Sometime lesser units is better than mass production where quality and service would just spoil brand imagine. Not all good stuff is cheap.
