@@kblock-lt8yk On some cars, it is on the inside of the box. On some cars it is on the outside of the box. On some cars you have to either find it in the manual or go to the Honda wab site or the dealer.

I didn't have one either - but I looked in the little Warranties booklet and it had been hand-written in. If you've exhausted those resources, probably need to reach out to a dealer for the code.

It might mean that you have entered wrong code too many times. Leave it on for an hour. It will again ask you about the code; then enter the correct one. Hope that helps.

You can also disconnect the battery if you keep getting the "CODE ERROR E" display. Leaving the battery disconnected for several minutes will reset your available code entry attempts. You will still need to find the CORRECT CODE before trying again.

As far as I know It is an anti-theft feature. So that if in case somebody steals the radio, it won't work without the code. Hope it answers your question.

you shouldn't. there may be a problem with your fuse or power source. I only have this problem because my battery failed & van was without power for several weeks.

You still need code but its very accessible. However, you do not need to call dealer etc.
