My video is a companion video to MrRanger's video above as my 2011 Odyssey is a little different than the older model he was working on. Most things are the same and the work is done as he showed but when it came to removing the wire loom that sits along the top of the valve cover I could not do it as he was able to. My model of Odyssey had wires going to places his didnt. If your engine bay looks like mine check this video out to see how I created the space necessary to remove the valve cover and later return it to the engine.
Let me know if you have any questions and if there is something I should have done that would have made it easier to do. Hopefully this is helpful!

Thanks, DIY, I got them off. Yes, i lubed the plug first. The larger , rubber sheathed one, had the lock release NOT behind the ONE grooved side, of the rubber sheath. I was pressing, mostly the grooved side. I got the smaller, green one off too, finally!

I removed from the battery side...2 8mm screws

Thanks for the great video! One quick question, do all the torque specs that MrRangerZr1 mentioned in his video apply to 2011 and newer models?

Two other questions, DIYAroundTheHome, Man. HOW did you get those two plugs off. The one on the alternator, where , on the rubber boot, must it be squeezed to release the lock? And below it, the single wire connector is also fighting to stay on. I see and can press down on the plastic lock tab, but it's so tight in there, I can not really get a good grip to press the tab and pull the connector off. Forty minutes I'm on this, because I do not want to break the lock tab! THANKS>

The two bottom plastic clips on the alternator harness didn't take a lot of work to get off. Maybe spray some type of cleaner that won't mess up the electrical... could be you have some gunk keeping things connected extra good. Sometimes when I'm pulling lock clips out I'll use a set of pliers to help hold down on the tab while I pull the clip out.

I took it out as many in the forums said it might be the cause of the leak I was trying to fix. It did make it easier with it give to clean the area and apply the gasket
