Is there anything magical about the wintergreen or would some other base oil work? mineral oil maybe?

Hi its 3:1 3 of the alcohol to 1 of the wintergreen oil. It's works fantastic though the wintergreen oil is a bit pricey. I used 300ml of alcohol to 100ml of wintergreen oil.

Question is... how will the softened rubber hold up ? If they fail soon, you get 3x the work.

@@Riffytuber Here we are a year later... so good time to check. The tube seals the airbox I expect will last longer than the gas lines... but waiting for your report. I just had my airbox off, the tube seals were still soft and not cracked. Lucky Me !
