What kind of wire do you use for your switches? What was the website to get the plates. I just picked up a Honda 1000 3 seater. I really like your videos. Keep them coming.

Am I good to put a battery tender on this setup? I put it on last night and wasn't green in the morning.

Yep. If you have the volt meter wired directly to the battery so it’s on all the time it may pull enough juice to keep the tender kick on

First off I really enjoy your videos. I have a 700 and have reached out to Mystic for a panel. What size wire did you run? Also, where did you get your voltmeter and switches? thanks in advance

My switch panel was installed with machine screws and nuts. Impossible to get to from the rear with all the wires connected. And, I needed to wire up a spare switch. Good luck with that.... So, I took my rotary tool, and grinded off the screw heads. Voila, the plate came out. So, in order to be able to get to the back wiring side in the future, I took some 1/4” aluminum plate, and cut a narrow strip (about 5/8” wide) to go behind the panel, one for the top line of 3 screws, and one for the bottom line of 3 screws. I then drilled out and tapped 8-32 threads in the aluminum plates for the screw locations and used SS allen head machine screws to hold the switch plate on. But, before I put the aluminum strips behind the plastic behind the panel, I used some 3M double sided foam tape to hold the aluminum to the plastic. Now, the aluminum stays in place when the screws are removed, and the screws come out easily, and can be accessed antime. The makers of these switch panels need to offer these tapped back plates as an option.

Do you have any info on the “sub accessory harness” by Honda for the P500? I just ordered one today. They say once installed you can hook up to 4 accessories to it. The dealer called it Plug and Play! Thanks

Interested in this switch plate for my 1000 but I don't have FB. I wish people would understand that not everyone needs a website to validate their lives.

Thanks for the very useful video. A great help. Suggestion....how about a video on raising up all the vent lines to increase the height the p5 can travel safely through deeper puddles?

Are you using a extra fuse box for your accessories?
@AppalachianMountainRiders7 жыл бұрын
+snayke1973 I’m going to but don’t have anything but the volt meters right now so I don’t have need of one yet.
