I did the same with a ordering the pump, placed the order for 3/4 shaft than realised that my engine was 7/8. Was able to cancel my order before it was shipped.

In the video, you indicated the key was too fat on one side so only fit with skinny side of key into engine shaft slot. Are you sure the key doesn't slide in fat-side-down from the end of the shaft notch?

That oil will stick to the sides inside. You would have to let it drain all night to get it all

Good point, I've been keeping an eye on the site glass to keep the level in spec.

same engine, but when I let off the trigger the machine sounds like is loading up with pressure and stops, I pull the trigger has tremendous amount pressure in it and then am able to pull start the machine. If I dont pull the trigger to unload the pressure in the hose has way to much pressure in it and will not turn over the engine. am i looking at an issue with my loader valve? do you know
