Did your drum housing come off that easily or did you have to fight it? Mine is a 4x4 and the housing will not come off

Very well done video. Thank you.

Easier ways of doing it is to take your main brake line off and then take the four bolts that hold the plate on then just take the whole plate off that way you can reach all Bolt to take the cylinders off, which gives you a lot more room

Had a question about the bulk vacum hose on the front left and right wheels that leads to the rear wheel and rear axle. Could you help me out on where the lead to and where the end of hose needs to vent to?

I must say I don’t like Honda’s brake designs with drum assembly I really think disc brakes are definitely the way to go on atvs

The cost to rebuild vs buying new cylinders? A rebuild kit is 15-19 bucks per and a replacement cylinder is 31-40 per and this isn't a cylinder rebuild its a cylinder replacement video

Hey john , I have done this same process and even changed out the break cylinder and on my right side one of the wheel cylinders still doesn’t engage when I press the breaks . I have bled them with my pump and can’t figure out why it won’t engage. Do you think it’s something to do with the hard line running break fluid to that wheel cylinder . (Note: that sand wheel cylinder didn’t work before I replaced them all the others functioned .

He left out an important step in his video. He didn't turn the adjusting screws on each cylinder. That's the sprocket-looking thing that he turned with his screwdriver through the little hole in the hub. You have to turn those in the direction of the arrow on the cylinder to push up the brake shoe close to the drum. I had to turn it quite a bit. Turn it until it stops the hub from turning, then back it off a little so it can turn.

Can you tell me how to fix a code 3 on a 2010 Polaris sportsman and I've tried the voltage regulator and put the throttle cable to it's position and I will run a few minutes and and as soon as it warms up and you give it gas it starts acting like it has a rev limiter at about 2500 rpm it just started doing it

Check with your dealer to see if your unit has an update. This situation usually revolves around the ecu.

I believe it's a 10/12mm. The 10mm is what you need.

Changed my pads, cylinders were not seized and brakes still soft🤔
@chrisalister22974 жыл бұрын
If it’s soft, the applied pressure is going somewhere. Could be the rubber flex lines. Not 100% sure.
