I have no idea witch way you turn the adjustment for the top cylinder 🤷🏻‍♂️camera was focusing somewhere else 😩

You have to look at the adjuster to see which way you should turn it.

Pry away from middle? are they facing the same direction? up or down or one up and one down. So which way does the second one turn to tighten?

one is up and the other is down. one is standard thread the other is reverse thread

Yeah I'm fixing a Polaris sportsman 500 that sat in a building for 7 years after it started running bad I got it apart I think cam is bad

Not too familiar with polaris, first drain the oil and put a magnet in it see if the motor did eat the cam... could be as simple as a worn tensioner or loose chain
