I have owned various motorcycles for 50 years now. I recently bought an 03 Reflex with 5,000 miles, got it for $1,200.00. It looks and runs like new. This bike is becoming my favorite bike so far, it is so smooth and comfortable to ride. It has more power than I had expected for a 250cc bike. Solid build, like any Honda, and super quiet. These are great bikes for sure.

I assume you're pleased. I just got a 2004 Reflex with almost 2,100 miles and couldn't help but smile when I got on and rode it.

When coming to a stop do you use both brakes to stop?

Just curious, what air pressure do you keep in your tires ?
@MotoRoUsa5 жыл бұрын
Jim Rees check your tires. Should tell you what psi is optimal for yours.
@psalm2forliberty577 Жыл бұрын
Most Maxi Scooter use 30-40 psi rear & 25-30 front. Lower gives more road feel maybe longer tire life, higher gives more load capacity & high speed handling, but will wear tires faster. Consider "Darksiding" your rear tire on most Maxi Scooters for longer rear tire life / better load capacity IF you ride say more than 10,000 miles annually.

There is a REALLY cheap one near me but I'm afraid its lack of ABS will get me killed. I never had a motorcycle/scooter before so I don't know just how important it is.
@MotoRoUsa5 жыл бұрын
ss tt not that important unless you really want it as a option to have. Never had a abs bike and probably never will in near future. You need to get use controlling the brakes without locking them. It’s not that hard. Take the MSF class, they’ll teach you
@seer69615 жыл бұрын
@@MotoRoUsa Okay thank you. I don't want to lose the opportunity because I think it will sell fast at this price, well under $1000.

Is it normal that my reflex runs a high rpm, when I go 50mph rpm is around 5000
@MotoRoUsa5 жыл бұрын
vkhiev that’s pretty normal. They’re made to cruise at 70mph all day long without issues. I believe that’s about 7k rpm if I remember well. Just sold the scooter I can’t confirm 100% but 5k isn’t high

@@MotoRoUsa Had to give you a thumbs down when I read you sold this scooter!
@bravogolf59055 жыл бұрын
Don't recall what the RPM should be but if you feel like they are higher than they should be it "may" be in indication of the drive belt wearing....but not necessarily. Just something you may want to look into
@MotoRoUsa5 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty normal. It has the dual weights system and feels like it’s changing gears after a certain speed and you’ll see a rpm drop and bounce back up
