The Ridgeline model started in 2006 regardless of when production started.

No such thing as an 05- actually 2006. The screws on the side of the cover are factory 8mm not 10mm 🤦‍♂️

i get my years from V.I.N. and the exact manufacture date from the door sticker. i ordered some parts from the dealer without them correcting me. lets not forget that most cars come out the half year before. for example, a 2022 will be manufactured and sold in 2021. thank you for the view.

@@ScarzCarzjust because your stick says it was manufactured in 2005, does not make it a 2005. Honda ridgeline first year is 2006. Just admit you are wrong. Why is that so hard?

@@imjustaguy7558 thank you for viewing and commenting. Am I the one that's wrong or the manufacturer? The dealer? The aftermarket company that also labels it's parts by year? How about the customers registration that says 2005 which is what we make a copy of for records and ordering parts? We use both door sticker and registration to ensure proper parts for the vehicle. We have several people that order parts so we have a system in place to prevent incorrect parts from being ordered.

@@ScarzCarz you are the one that is wrong because you are misunderstanding it and a simple google search would help you realize your mistake. The first model year of the Ridgeline is 2006. You have no argument. Many manufacturers produce vehicles in the year prior and even sell them that year, but the model year is still labeled as the year after. There is no such thing as a 2005 Honda Ridgeline. I can’t believe you work on vehicles and don’t understand this. 🤦‍♂️ The incompetence shows, and this is exactly why I work on all of my own vehicles. The first generation of the Honda Ridgeline went on sale in March 2005 as a 2006 model year vehicle. The Ridgeline was designed by Honda R&D Americas' Gary Flint and his engineering team to appeal to buyers who wanted to switch from sedans, minivans, and SUVs to a pickup truck. The first generation Ridgeline had a 3.5 liter V6 engine and production ended in early 2015.

@@imjustaguy7558 I'll be sure to tell everyone at honda that their year model confusion was solved by some guy doing a Google search. I tend to forget that Honda fanboys require exact word for word explanation of things. I may have to send a letter to the state the vehicle is registered in and advise them that they not only titled a vehicle with the wrong year, but they've had someone paying registration for a vehicle that doesn't exist. According to Google.

The bolts in the corner of the wheel wells are actually 8mm from the factory.

Ridgelines were built from 2006 and up. So it's probably not an 05

I had two of the 4 10mm bolts snap on me (both of the far ends opposite of each other) while taking the bumper off. What the best way to remedy that when putting bumper back on?

you would have to go and get new u clips screws. it is completely avoidable if honda would only use plastic u clips instead of metal.
