I had a gen 1 Ridgeline and tested it in snow. It was great in 5" of fresh snow.

Yeah, most all wheel drives do really good in fresh snow. It’s the compact snow that’s the most challenging. That’s why I always run studded tires. But there are a few good tires that do just good enough without the studs.

Love me some PNW lakes and trails..I'm moving up that way from Sactown. Is it harder to get a better deal up that way? Considering that everyone in Cal-Sactown or Bay is so EV conscious, Ridgelines aren't flying off the lots. These trucks have become more of the enthusiast secret club truck than anything else. Everyone who owns one down here knows exactly what they bought..

@@buddymack well if you move up to Oregon, you don’t have to pay sales tax if that’s where you’re gonna live. You have to pay sales tax up in Washington and of course California. What I would do is search the dealership websites and see what the prices are going for and how much they’ve got on inventoryright now I think Ridge lines have a pretty good interest rate from Honda financial. You’ll have to do some research.

What kind of tires are you running on your ridgeline?
@DIYBIGMAN3 ай бұрын
Just the OEM tires to 40psi. Firestone destination, LE2 I believe.

And that is all you need for most off-road adventures. I'm rolling my stock 2008 Ridgeline, it goes through sand like this, deep snow or mud, without switching to the locker style 4x4 . These 1st gen. trucks are o underrated.

I’m waiting on the 2025 version. If Honda refuses to give it a facelift, then I’ll spend my money with the Ford maverick trimmer.

I would look for the update to be 2026 or 2027. The Maverick is not even in the same class.
