TRY A STANDARD E.F.I. AND [UT IT ON THE TURBO, BALANCE THE PORTS TO TIMING, THEN PUT ENGINE ON A FLOW METER SETS USING THIS TO MEASURE AIR FLOW INTO THE ENGINE AND WHAT'S COMING OUT. BEST WAY TO BALANCE AN ENGINE WHILE RUNNING. IT BALANCES THE PSI, AND FUEL MICING WHILE RUNNING EVEN SET THE WASTEGATE PRESSURE AND SEE ID IT WORKS WITHOUT DAMAGING THE ENGINE. The head will have to be a four-valve setup, have titanium valves in it. if you don't use EFI for whatever reason, try a 38 mm racing carb on it! Then you will have max power that the engine can make, for sure!! Done right without damaging the engine you can get 45% more power out of it. On this video why not balance the crank while you have it out and then power balance the thing, be sooo smooth running if done? oh yeah, did I tell ya, over 100 mph? peace out!

I’d like to do that to mine. How is the EFI kit coming along? I want to keep it a stock 49cc because laws loop holes where I live but I’d like to be able to rid on a road that’s 55mph and not come close to dying. My stock ‘09 can hit 42mph down hill/flat but when I hit the uphills I drop speed so fast it’s like breaking to 15-20mph. Think y’all make a 49cc EFI performance kit with titanium values and so on. Like a stage 1000000 for the GET 49cc

Whats is the fastest ruckus you have built , have you gotten to 100mph with the gear set you put together on the 232cc? .

@@RollingWrench i agree not sure if you remeber traded some video and messages a few months back to diagnosis a gy6 that had a destroyed starter clutch and it was super sketch at the top speed of 86 mph... after replacing my trx 450 with a amazon special carb set up. Not sure if you go my other message but my 6 finished builds and stock pile of parts was recently stolen amd the trailer was found actually in your neck of the woods i think. If your in Denver, i think i remeber thinking you were in Colorado. Im going threw scooter withdrawal.

@ROLLING WRENCH , would the EVI get a ruckus with a ecm that's died for the 2ed time back up and running wasn't sure how it was wired of it pulls power from 12v and then just pulse from pickup with timing built In the last time this happened I replaced the stator checked all the wiring and put another ecm on it only for ot to blow the ignition controller internally after 500 miles, would the EVI get ot going again without a need to buy another brain still runs the fuelpump and and cranks over

It should. The EVI bypasses the stock ignition completely. The only time I have seen ecu’ sho bad multiple times is from the NCY cdi box

Great video.... I've hot a 50cc Tao Tao and its a little rough but its my first-ever scooter and i wanna put a 150 in it on a very tight budget. Any advice?????

I have same scooter and I put 100cc bigbore kit and got top speed of 46mph

Odd he did all that to get 51 mph when the duck shop sells a stage 2 kit that goes anywhere from 50-60mph and isn’t as intrusive 😂

Let me help you a little. We are in Denver Colorado. We are at nearly 6000 feet above sea level. The higher you go in elevation the worse your performance gets. We loose 20% of power up here. Of this same bike was at sea level in Florida it would easily do 60mph. Put that in your brain and store it.

That engine said vtec on the valve cover, Honda uses that on there car engines, dose this engine have variable cam actuation?
