Scotty, you`re so wrong about small engines with turbo. I drive 2014 Dodge Dart with Fiat`s 1.4L Multiair Turbo, bought with 0km, overpaid in Canada, but engine...230,000kM and still not using drop of oil, all I did is change oil on time and I changed timing belt myself at 150,000kM (next time I will do this sooner). Oil is golden and beautiful and everything works fine. I had to update the ECU software, but mechanically its 100% sound still. And I put load on it, I know how to drive it, (I`m a trucker) haha Kind Regards!

Scotty, I came to you because I thought you would help me solve the problem. I can't afford to buy a different car since I was unemployed for the first time in my life, and at almost 60 years old I have found it difficult to find a new job, which has never happened to me. I need help to solve the problem not someone to tell me that I should not own a Buick. So, the fact is I have a 2013 Buick Regal Gs Turbo and currently I have no low/high Beams. The entire headlight assembly on both sides are new, with new ballast and new bulbs. They were plug n play and after installed and tested they worked fine. However, the very next time I went to drive at night, only the driving light and turn signals worked. I checked all the fuses and relays, which were all good, but did pull them and replace with new, since that wasn't costly. I also replaced the switch on the dashboard. I have a brand-new battery and my alternator has been tested and is working great. I looked at the plugs and wires but did not see any kind of issue. The only thing I have noticed is the driver's side headlight low/high beam will flick very briefly when first turned on they will go completely out. Could you please give me advice on how to fix this issue, as I figured you are very knowledgeable and might be able to assist me.

I was in the market for a "new" (well, used), vehicle last year and it came down for me to either a Rav 4 or CRV. I test drove both. I liked both, but liked the CRV a little better and it was slightly cheaper, so I went with that. Had it just over a year now (it's a 2016) and knock on wood it's doing great. It had ~75,000 miles on it when i got it and I've only put ~8,000 on it myself so far. Only things I've had to do was change the oil, put air in the tires, and get it inspected.

I just bought a brand new 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Touring AWD-- the top of the line. I also just recently bought a 2023 Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid for my 21 year old son. They are both excellent cars. I would say I prefer the way the Toyota drives, but IMO the CR-V is a lot more comfortable both in the driver's seat and in the backseats. You also get more legroom in the CR-V's backseat. My son preferred the sporty look of the RAV4 -- the CR-V sort of has mom car vibes (I think because the CR-V has tail lights similar to a Volvo). He has these nice looking Softex seats which are probably a good idea for him or maybe someone driving around with a younger child. I think you can't go wrong with either one of these cars because they are both so similar, including their price. Both of these cars are in high demand, so you would have to order one which takes a few weeks. The only thing that would make me buy a Toyota over the Honda, would be the ridiculous dealer mark-ups that the Honda dealers are doing. It's very, very difficult to find one that isn't adding $2500 + worth of crap onto their cars.

I own exactly the same trim 2023 CR-V as on this video, got mine among the first one's back in December 2022, and I got to say, that current Honda built quality has disappointed me. Paint coating of the inside portions of the doors is so poor, that I got corrosion in 4 months old car! This is unacceptable! Went to my local dealership to claim the warranty repairs. While they were fixing it, I've been curious and went on their lot to check a few brand new CR-V's for the same area, and unfortunately, same poor coating and uneven gaps on the hood/fenders area, the lift gate and side panels as well! And lastly, what the service department manager told me about those findings, shocked me! His words exactly " It's okay for the mass production vehicles" Previously, I had spent hours on the phone with the American Honda call center about this issue trying to get someone in the quality control management, but unfortunately they've said that there is no such one, so that's probably why Honda manufacturing going down in the quality I guess? So sad experience. Beware, and check on those things at the time of purchase!

Most turbos put on new vehicles today are simply meant to help with acceleration given they are all placing tiny engines to increase gas ratings.
