another thing with the soft top drains is that sometimes they actually partially block up and on heavier rainy days it will pile up and end up leaking into the car instead. Under light rainy weather you wouldnt notice it and think it drains fine. I would still recommend asking a shop to clear the drains - which they can easily do with a blower.

I had a trunk leak, was down to the drain holes being blocked. You can clean them out with an old wire coat hangar.

Yup, that's one area that's easier to clean. The trunk however was another story.

that tail light repair seems redundant to me, you're better off just replacing the gasket that sits in between the tail light and the body of the car
