Honda Shadow | Rear Shocks

I'm hoping to start this riding season off with a good start!!

Y remove the exhaust .. no need to remove it to change the shocks :P

I had the exhaust off to wrap it and replace the studs

Good question, used them for a few months and went back to stock, for the weight of the bike, they weren't heavy enough

@mkat_551 yup. They may of been okay if they were longer but they were at least an inch shorter than stock

Lol no doubt, I ended up switching back to the stock ones, the black shocks had to much give to them

You mean to raise the rear ride height? A longer shock will fix that. To raise it to change out the shocks? I used a scissor car jack, placed it on the frame at the back of the motor and lifted it just height enough that when i unbolted it, the shock at the bottom would push out and line up with the bolt holes

@@motoalley thank you yes I wanted to raise the back for the reason is its scraping the bottom of my bike and I wanted to know how to get it.off theground

@Henry Ramirez you could try these forsa, I do like the look of them but I ended up changing back to stock because when I took the bike off the table I had it on, I didn't like the amount they moved when I sat on it. I'm not sure the weight difference between the vt1100 and the 750, if anything, could do what I did and took the length of the stock shock and did a internet search, lots of different ones out there.
