If you were to put a 120cc injector in that Supercub, it’ll pull like a train and fly! They have small valves, indeed one of the smallest valves for a 125 hence the upgrade from the stock 90cc injector to a 120cc only. I did a similar tour in 2016 to the very top of Scotland from Farnborough and back down the west coast. I used an innova 125 and it was the tour of my life! Have fun and stay safe.

If I were you I would ditch that top-box, use a pair of Givi soft panniers and strap a roll bag over the back. You are way too heavy on the rear considering you sit back quite far. The panniers would get the weight down lower and increase your capacity no end. I would also ditch the tools. It’s a Honda and you won’t need them. If you do get unlucky, how many Honda dealers are close by? Loads! It’s extra weight that you will regret later. I ditched most of my clothes and crap in a litter bin on the A90 just before Inverness to save weight and make space. The rest of my tour was so much more comfortable after I minimised the payload. Just a friendly tip and hope it goes well.

Look forward to seeing your pop pop trip guys.👌 Had a couple of Honda 50s in my time C100 OHV and C50 OHC great bikes crappy leading link suspension. Cub forks much better. Wore a hard turtle shell back pack full of clothing for my September 200mile camping weekend on my recently acquired PCX125. It works great as a back rest when you lean against the top box.

Good stuff. I rode my Monkey bike to the Arctic and back but upgraded the chain/sprockets to 428. What's the SuperCub like for chain stretch? I'm asking as I am doing a long distance trip when I buy the Cub . Cheers
