Honda Talon 1000R Front and Rear Rhino 2.0 Axle Install | SuperATV

In this video we show you the procedure to remove your factory axles and install a set of SuperATV Rhino 2.0 axles into the Honda Talon.

Ok, I wish mine would have went in that easy, they did not go in easy at all. It took me 2 attempts to get this done (two different days) after some thinking I managed to get them in the front. Have not done the rear yet, maybe next week. I used two ratchet straps to compress the axle so when I (tapped) it in with a lead dead blow hammer it didn't have any spring back. Was not an easy task doing it by myself but I did get it done.

I know many or most people don't care much for torque specifications, but it would be nice to mention what they are. More importantly, I noticed that you didn't apply any fresh grease to the hub/splines? Is that not necessary but maybe recommended? I'm installing my 2.0's tomorrow. I'll use some fresh wheel bearing grease.

Torque specifications are always listed in the machine's owner's manual. If there is a torque spec required that is different from OE, it will be noted in the installation instructions. It is always a good idea to add some anti-seize to the splines when installing a new axle.

i bought these axles and no dice they do not pop in after 2 hrs. i gave up made an appointment with Honda. a word of advice don't try to put these on. the spline will not easily start period. Called Sper ATV really no help.
