The year was 1988, I had just seen a white VFR750F, that was when I decided I wanted to ride. Fast forward to 2022 after many issues along my life's way, I finaly got my licence, now to start adding to my garage, with a VFR at the top of my list.

Very inspirational! Now you just need a Sargent seat; even if they weren't way more comfy than stock, they'd be worth the expense just for looking better! And FWIW my vote would be leave the VFR badges off, looks great as is.

I have a vfr too and I recommend gettin chrome indicator bulbs for front and back . Visually makes a big difference taking the orange look out

Awesome job Dave, what a superb looking bike now and looks as good as new, if not better. Hope it's a keeper and for what it stands you in now, you could loose that in a couple of years if you bought a brand new bike. I think it's the way to go, I have a Honda Blackbird that I've owned for 14 years, I go everywhere on it and absolutely love it and keep it in as new condition all the time, anything that needs doing is done as I don't allow anything to deteriorate. I hope you can get that connection and love affair with your VFR, just like me and RV with his Silver Lady 🙂

Looks nice! Try an MRA Vario screen. Totally transformed my 5th gen: Probably the biggest single improvement I've ever made on the bike. Not good for the license tho, as 100mph now feels like 60..🤔

Beautiful, beautiful bike! Question for you. I bought a 2014 VFR with 4650 miles. The tires are original. I took it to the shop and had all the deferred maintenance done. His inspection confirmed that it was a very good bike "except", the tires need to be replaced. He mentioned the Road 6 GT tires. Can you recommend them as well? Thanks Rick

Stock Honda panniers and they were that colour since I bought the bike. They were polished up and scratches all sprayed over but not a full respray on the panniers.

No John. I decided Ihad done enough and spent enough so just wanted to get out and ride it. I did use the Autobrite Direct ceramic coating polish though and it did a superb job.

i have a 08 model, but recently everything seems to have gone bust. ABS light keeps flashing, new abs module seems to cost around 600 euros, stator and rectifier both need replacing, around 1000 euros for both. really disappointed by the prices for all these
