Great color choice on the bike! That blue, stainless & grey color combo is killer. I have a 2000 that I’ve started on the refurbish trail after 13 years of ownership. Great job - very clean. 👍🏻

Very nice. I have two 5th gen vfrs, both with staintune high mount pipes. They sound glorious.

Sounds amazing! I try to find a staintune but it's hard...I currently have an old Ixil and above 5k rpm it sounds pretty bad imo (just bought my VFR 3 weeks ago). Do you know per chance where I could look to increase my chance? Thanks :)
@427walrus9 ай бұрын
@Rutch I found one used on vfrdiscussion forum but they are pretty hard to find. You could contact Staintune in Australia. Best of luck.

How does it run with new system have you had to have it tuned ect?
@vfourcruza77443 жыл бұрын
It runs absolutely fine, actually runs better in my opinion. I've not had it mapped and there's no other mods done to the engine, other than a new reg/rec and and stainless full system, the bike's stock. 👍

I've got a remus, I'm tempted to remove the baffle
@DaveLister-rn4xn2 ай бұрын
I have a Black Widdow and had a Delkavic Slip on. I felt the bike was a bit slower without baffles.. Don't know why? maybe back pressure? BUT it sounded like a Ducati Race bike ;o) My friend has a newer vtec bike and he just changed front sprocket -2 and added a speedo healer! it was a new animal, faster and much pulled much better! there must be a way of changing the gearing and keeping top end speed and faster acceleration? I have ordered a -1 front sprocket to see if that's as good? (Speedo healer needed). I also heard from a Tuner! the Cams are wide and oval, racing Cams are pointy and sharp! Race cams add power and Horses! and if you are having valve clearances done and any need adjusting! they can easily be added when doing this procedure! Gonna try that next summer ;o) I like my VFR 800 and anything I can do to improve it.. Im in ;0)

Bike looks clean man, what kind of phone mount is that? What mods have you done
@vfourcruza77443 жыл бұрын
Thanks bud. It's an Ultimate Addons phone holder and stem mount. The bike doesn't have a huge amount of mods, mostly it's just paintwork, it was originally Red, but it's been painted blue with grey wheels and a few other bits resprayed back to the stock colours just to keep on top of the rust that an old bike like this accumulates. Other than that, I've mainly done wiring improvements, as the stator, reg/rec and connectors on these tend to suffer from corrosion and burn out over time.
@rj12341003 жыл бұрын
@@vfourcruza7744 Appreciate the reply, is the phone mount pretty stable? I’ve been wanting to get one but I worry about losing a phone lol
@vfourcruza77443 жыл бұрын
@@rj1234100 No worries my man. Yeah it's really stable, it holds on really well at all speeds. I've even used it on my Kawasaki and Ducati which don't have fairings, the mount holds on even if you're going over 100mph, so they're definitely pretty good! 😁
