I bought a used 2010 (7500km) about 5 weeks ago. I'm stoked with it. Coming up from Suzuki's little TU250x the Honda has plenty of power without ripping your arms off. I'm about 5'5" and can easily flat foot the bike. I'd definitely recommend the bike to anyone looking for a docile cruiser with a bit of power when you need it. I reckon the pipes sound fine stock too. Doubt I'll upgrade mine. Only thing I'm not overly fond of is the air filter cover sticking out the side. Makes it a bit hard to grip the tank with your knees...otherwise love it!

bullymac68 yes I have to agree it is a lovely bike, very comfortable easy to ride and good looking 😃 I tested an adventure bike at the weekend but not as comfy as this so I think my minds made up👍

Wow so much chrome! I know this style is not your first choice but that's a very nice looking bike. 0 to 60 looked more than good enough. Good luck with the continuing search.

simon bealing yes lots of chrome to keep clean but very comfortable and as you say it performs well enough. Having a look at an adventure bike next 😃

Hey guys. Passed my test last year just almost got enough to purchase one of these. You think it's a great bike for a 1st timer? Cheers

They seem to be very affordable bikes here on the Used market here in Oz... Can see them under AU$4.5k with very low kms (GBP2.5k). I don't mind the slightly modern cruisers. Latest Fat Bob looks so cool
@BikeMates5 жыл бұрын
Gary K yes they’re a great little cruiser at a reasonable price although here in the UK they still cost around £4000 used.

@@BikeMates have you seen the new phantom. It is nice
@BikeMates6 жыл бұрын
Roger Vallve yes that is a lovely looking bike I do like the blacked out look (less chrome to clean) quite expensive though 😬
@PsychoPaul136 жыл бұрын
Wow lots of chrome to clean 😎. That’s why I like the CRF I put it away dirty and it looks good on it 😂
@BikeMates6 жыл бұрын
Psycho Paul yes lots of cleaning required, but it would give me something to do on long winter evenings 😃

But does your bloody neck hurt? Nice bike, but I would go with the Suzuki Boulevard M50 or C50, depending on how much chrome you want to polish.

Intruder Sauce no my neck did not hurt whilst riding so that’s a plus. 😃👍

Do you know what backrests that is? I am looking at a 2010 VT s but searching that year it doesn't show anything for the VTs.
@BikeMates Жыл бұрын
Hi I can’t remember what make backrest was on mine as I don’t have the bike anymore. Found this on eBay though www.ebay.co.uk/itm/352271065459?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=MrxeCKMfRsi&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=mbyfe7yXSBm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

@@BikeMates Hiya from Canada ! Just discovered your channel, great reviews and I will learn a lot from you ! Its funny beause my 1st bike was a cbr250 and I saw that you had it too and now I have the vt750rs. It is my 6th bike in 2 seasons of riding and it is the best bike i have ever driven. It fits my physical dimensions, character and riding style to a tee. The driving instructior at the school drives a 1000cc supersport bike and he told me that he misses how fun a 250cc bike is and at first I didnt understand and thought he was crazy but now after having experienced riding the katana 750, thunderbird 900 and this vt750rs, i understand how my cbr250 was so much fun ! But the riding position hurt my arms and back. You are so correct, " it will do the business if you ask it to " !!! Its so true 😁 Btw, why did you get rid of your vt750s ?? Have a great upcoming season, cheers !!

@@IronChambersTheOfficialChannel hi glad you enjoy the videos it’s great to get some positive feedback from you 👍 I had my VT750 for one season and changed it for an MV Agusta brutale just because I like to try different bikes 🙄 bad move though as had a nasty accident on it and now I’m on a scooter 🛵 Enjoy the bike and ride safe
@IronChambersTheOfficialChannel7 ай бұрын
its even a greater pleasure to receive a reply from you mate ! Thanks. Im glad that your ok after the accident, you look like a good rider so it had something to do with you walking away from it. Perhaps all we need is a smaller cc bike like a scooter, i still have my VT750s but sometimes I miss the cbr250. Looking forward to your new uploads this summer. Cheers !@@BikeMates
