Hope same concept was for idtec. Sadly discontinued. There was huge criticism for Honda Idtec engines due to its noise, low performance etc. But I love it we are using city diesel for last 7 years clocked 127000kms running without any major issues

Same technology is 1st used in Bike is YAMAHA R15 V3 it was called as Variable Valve Actuation 💥 which changes larger cam rocker-ram and changes 2 Valve to 4 Valve opening after the engine reaches 7500RPM 💥 This technology gives insane top end speed for R15 💥

In low rpm there is necessary air fuel ratio but in higher rpm there is no sufficient air fuel ratio so above 6000rpm inlet valves open at starting of suction stroke
