How did you choose the mivv exhaust? I have been looking through KZbin, etc to get an idea of sound from various exhausts, but is difficult with sound quality, not giving full name of exhaust,etc. Have to say your exhaust sounds the best so far!😊 CGI😂

Hi there, so the 4 cylinder stock exhaust sound is muffled, thats obvious. On i'd say 60% of the exhausts its still a good sound but it sounds limited (akrapovic, sc), like its the good sound but quiet. Then 30 percent are loud and nice (two bros, arrow) and then the best ones that really scream, and in this case the mivv exhaust. If you have ever heard a motorcycle without an exhaust - thats the sound I go for in videos. Otherwise they sound the same. Thank you! And yes ofc CGI 😂

@@cuddlycocaroach I have the akrapovic racing. It's ok without the db killer. But during long rides, it gets annoying. Cant even imagine anything louder. You 'll get hearing damage in the long run

Hi, so i have it tucked behind my helmets' cheek pad on the right, and it has a wind blocker puff thingy. Forgive me i dont know the exact name it may be a wind breaker. Ever since i lost the wind breaker i tuck it inside the cheek pad. I do plan on getting another more professional mic for under the rear seat though!

Het there. I would not advise this as a beginner bike. I rode approx 30k km before comfortably riding this bike. Experience is very important. I don't know how other people can put the 650r mt07 in the beginner class range. Then again if you plan on doing the speed limit then being completely honest any bike will do you well. better bang for your buck if you get a 2012 s1krr to be fair. im currently deciding on my next bike what is the difference between the 600rr and 650r?

The 600rr is a race driven bike. It has higher pegs and lower handle bars giving a much more agressive riding position. The 650r is a daily riding bike. It has lower pegs and a higher handle bar. Giving it a more upright but still slightly leaned ever position. The 600rr is a 120hp bike and the 650r is a 92hp bike.

I would make the decision on previous experience, how you plan to use the bike, and what outcome you wish. If you dont have big-bike experience this would be a good entry more so than a 600rr. And as UpNorth has mentioned the 600rr has a much more agressive riding style. If you will be commuting within the city and not as many track days, the 650r will be a better fit. I've got a R6 but barely use it because the 650r is just so much fun and more comfortable!

Is he hitting the throttle on every down shift? I never recall doing that with a dirtbike when I down shift, is there a reason for this I should know?

Yes there is a reason for that. If you are downshifting, it means, that the rpms of the Engine will be higher than how fast your back tire is spinning, if you would not rev match (like he is doing) it could happen that your back tire locks up and starts sliding. And also rev matching is better for the enginge, the overall ride is smoother, and your bike is more stable that way.

@@The99Style Typically when I downshift I'm already slowing down and holding the clutch in so I just shift down to the lower gear and accelerate out with some ease to the throttle and haven't had this problem. Most of my experience is on the dirt, I guess I'm wondering if this is something with being on the street at higher speeds and more traffic situations? If so, how does one rev macth exactly, like, is it just a little throttle at all on the new gear or do I have to be matching a certain number of rpms each time manually?

So when you rev match, it happens automatically. when you give gas and let go of the clutch in the lower gear, it catches the engine rpms and matches the rear wheel speed. Dropping gear without rev matching can lead to unwanted slowing down. But for very fast stopping engine braking (downshifting without rev matching) is by far the strongest option.

@@christianc397 I don't dislike aftermarket exhausts but I really like stock exhausts in some bikes like the cbr650r and the z900. I think they have a nice tone and they are loud enough for me. I don't want people to hear me from 2 kms away lol.

Exactly, if you're commuting everyday to work in a long distance you also appreciate less sound and your neighbors will thank you for not waking them up in the morning. It does very nice screaming sound above 4.5k rpm so if you want to be heard just drop a gear... i often put it to higher gear especially when im talking to somebody on the intercom so i can hear them more clear. I've had a chance and tried this bike with akrapovic exhaust, it just doesnt sound the same for me and i think it gives away much more vibrations, to the point where i couldnt see reflection in his mirrors cause they were shaking like crazy :D

I hate it when I’m riding with friends I can’t even hear my own bike. But with thoughts of getting a different bike I may just leave it stock, who knows

The IXIL works extremely well with the MT07 in my personal experience. I absolutely love the MT07's engine sound. Although 4 cylinder is my preferred option anyday of the week ahah
