Great video! Installed same wideband and reading were off on the gauge according to the tuner. However he didn’t bother to look into why. Datalogs we’re reading in lamda (1.08 etc) called innovative and didn’t help much as they dnt know the differences in engine managements. Finally I will have data logs and true afrs. Subbed! Thanks for sharing the knowledge.

All new wideband systems come with the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor which reads the whole band with 0-3.73 volts. So d14 is now the preferred pin to use if you have that o2 sensor

Good video. Glad to see you got your wideband input figured out. I'll definitely refer here when putting mine in. I reccomend using some screen capturing software on the laptop view to just help the video quality and avoid the pulsing screen from the laptop.

I am curious if you can tie the O2 sensor wiring directly into the S300 or do you have to go through a gauge first?
@JCMotiveGarage11 күн бұрын
You can, you just use the input wire into the s300 using the analog wire harness
@AutoBodyEverything Жыл бұрын
Which oxygen sensor are you using? Is it the LSU 4.2 or the LSU 4.9? The 4.9 is the newer sensor that performs better and only has three wires. So you are sharing the same oxygen sensor signal between the gauge and Hondata is that correct? Is there a calibration that can be done or compensation on your laptop so that the computer and the gauge can read the same exact value? Or is that the best it’s going to get? Also are there, any other people who would use a separate sensor for the ECU and a separate sensor with the gauge?

so you actually have the wideband wired into the stock wiring and not the anolog input on the s300?

@@JCMotiveGarage huh, how come you didn’t route it into an analog? There’s like 6 inputs right?

@TBsGarage you can but that’s the easiest way to do it and gets the best reading from the ecu,

@@JCMotiveGarage…. In your video you stated that you just wanted to get the car running and you did not want to spend more time doing extra wiring. I’m still curious to know whether you have ever ran o2 signal into the HONDATA and if you can confirm whether the signal reading performance Is equal either way you wire the o2 signal or if running it into the ecu is confirmed to be better than running it directly into the HONDATA board itself where the performance computing takes place? No hard feelings either way bro, it will just be sooo helpful to have clarification, even you are not sure, even that answer can still be very helpful🙏💪🫵😉

Having same issues with my eg . My wideband reads right. But my o2 sensor on hondata is reading 0.34 to 0.33 and my wideband won't read on s manager to datalog. Why
@JCMotiveGarage2 жыл бұрын
It’s reading volts not AFR you need to go into settings and change it to read AFR not volts.
@JCMotiveGarage2 жыл бұрын
What pin do you have the output wire hooked up to D14 or D10 ELD? It’s reading in volts not AFR or lambda, you need to into settings and change it to ready lambda not volts.
