I love these products. After the shampoo and conditioner I use my melanin leave in, detangle, add oil then style and I use the cecred lotion in place of styling gel. A little goes a long way. It has a light hold and it leaves my hair soft and doesn’t flake if you are not heavy handed. When my hair is dry I use a little more to spot treat my stubborn flyaways in the front. I never do wash and goes because my hair gets too dry and tangled. I do twists, plaits or a loose smooth updo. My hair loves the Cecred line. My protein overload was gone after the first wash.

@@sasha69Xurgelash Exactly. Olaplex is $30 each for the shampoo and condition at 8.5 ounces. They sometimes sell it discounted at $42 for the set. Always has sales. And they have a trial size with everything included for $41-55. Beyoncé’s sells the shampoo and conditioner for $38 each. Shampoo is only 8 oz deep conditioner is 10oz. She sells the value pack of shampoos and conditioner only for $42. Olaplex oil is $30 and cecred is $42. Olaplex value pack ranges from $120-$180 depending on your hair needs. Cecred’s value pack in $265 I think people think olaplex is more expensive because they also sell salon size products which cost more because it’s much bigger. But either way it’s still expensive but they have a bigger range of products, award winning, and they are actually cheaper.

I have curly 4b hair I follow up with Aussie Moisturizing shampoo and Aussie 3 min miracle moisturizing conditioner. Or I'll follow up with Carol's Daughter moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Depends on what I'm trying to do. I have noticed that Tarji's clarifying shampoo does in fact do a good job and most times one good lather removes all the build up. But you definitely have to go in with a good conditioner bc it does strip the hair a bit but not in a harsh way. After I've conditioned my hair it's almost like I have a reset. My hair takes oil better and my hair tends to comply with the styling products better. I get mine from Target bc if you don't like it you can return it. Plus they usually sell it for a good price at Target.

I bought the Cecred products. My hair is natural, straight 4c. So far, I used the clarifying shampoo, hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, hydrating lotion, and nourishing hair oil. All of the products were easy to open, and no, it wasn't hard for the products to come out of the bottles. Both shampoos worked great, the hydrating shampoo being the best to me. Talk about a detangling shampoo, with slip, sheesh! The moisturizing conditioner worked very well. I would say my favorites are the hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, and hydrating hair oil. I did notice a difference, a positive one over the other brand I had been using prior. And yes, I am a product junkie, and I am not afraid to spend my money on some hair care. So I've used a lot of brands. No, you do not have to use a lot of the product. A little goes a long way. I would definitely buy it again, and if I could only buy a few products (so far), I would buy the hydrating shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, and hydrating lotion. The price is comparable to other high-end brands, with it actually being cheaper than some from that standpoint. I don't know about anybody else, I honestly liked the products 🤷♀️.

I love the products purchased them all... you have to add the water with the conditioner then add heat. I like the moisture sealing lotion but the 1st time i used way too much they say use sparingly and they mean it. Hands down the moisture shampoo, masque, and oil are the best.

Yep I love the clarifying shampoo… moisturizing shampoo… the conditioner….and oil…

14:43 & with 4C hair? That wouldn't work for me if it's ultra light. Maybe for my son whose hair is 3A-3B/ & some strand of 3C.

I appreciate your honest review. Too expensive for me to try. I love your hair. As far as a gel for defining my 4C curls I love Doux Big Poppa. No crunchy ness at all.
@carterzmom7 ай бұрын
I'm just curious...why didn’t you comb out each section before putting in the dryer? I don't mean combing out all of your hair, I mean each section just before drying. I have 3c texture, so maybe not using a comb is typical of 4c, I dont know. I have to use lots of moisturizer, too, so a single drop wouldn't do it for me either. I don't use high-end product systems, so I'm not pro or con this or any other system. I am trying to learn about them, though. Your hair is beautiful, by the way, and your video is very informative.

If I want to clarify my hair, I will never purchase a product for it. I always use a ratio of vinegar and water in a rinse and keep it pushing. They are a waste of money.

When it comes to hair textures like yours, which is like mine, our hair NEEDS a thick product like a good leave in I went back to cheap ass nourishing Crème of Nature and it be $3😂, hair butters, follow up with a good oil. You really sold me on not getting Cécred. For some reason I was thinking of trying both or either that or fenty. ❤

One important thing to remember is that we are all different, even my blood sisters and I have different hair types. It's essential to find the right hair products that work for your specific hair type. I've found that some Mielle products work for me, while others don't. I am going to try Cecred and Fenty Hair products one at a time to see if my hair likes them. I prefer to support products made by people who look like me, especially if they have products that work well for my hair type. It's important to experiment and see what works best for your hair. I'm cautious of brands that claim to work for all hair types, as each type of hair requires specific care.

I have a loose curl pattern with wavy roots. I can't use heavy proteins and oil in my hair. I used the Hydrating Shampoo, the Deep Conditioner, and the Norishing Hair Oil (I removed the dropper to get a little more oil). I really liked the way my hair felt afterward. I will order these products again!

My wash day routine:Shampoo, condition, dry, add oil and leave un conditioner. Done and done. I can never understand these lengthy routines for hair and skin care. But that's me

9:26 its good to use only a few drops of oil no matter your hair type...it does not take that much to coat our hair(in sections). You risk premature build up by slathering too much oil.

What I'll say as a professional cosmetologist is take in consideration the condition of your hair prior to using certain products. No everyone has the same start so although some may think the products are amazing and some don't it may mean cocktai the products or not using some although to get a desired feel and look. No every product in the line is meant for some textures prior to understanding what your hair needs to do what is your overall desired look/outcome.

I used the products for the first time this week and I love it. The shine, softness, volume and added bounce feel better than going to the salon. As far as price I usually purchase Ouai and other higher end products at Ulta and Sephora so the price is standard for those types of products. But I do have 3a-c curls, that is heat trained and finer strands. I hope that this is just the beginning and product line will expand overtime to meet more and more of everyone’s needs.

The properties of the CeCred shampoo and protein conditioner sound good, so i might try those if they go on sale. My 4c hair prefers a light oil mixed with water, so I could use the oil. However, a line without either a detangling conditioner or a very thick deep conditioner is a big problem for my hair. And the line doesn't have a good pre poo or thick oil to use as a hot oil pre poo treatment, which are both essentials for my moisture-craving hair. For low porosity hair, the moisturuzing conditioners would need a lot of tweaking. If the products were $18 a bottle, I'd mix in tea tree oil and castor oil where needed. For $42, I ain't customizing products.

Thanks for this review! I'm starting to see that people who prefer gels (for wngs or twistsouts etc) are really liking this line. If you don't enjoy the feeling of holding products then it seems like the moisture sealing motion is too stiff. 🤔

I totally agree! I don't think that these products will perform well for all hair types and all hair routines, but I'm glad there are a lot of people finding that it works for them.

Awesome video ! Thank you love. I’m interested in seeing how my hair fairs coz it’s short so maybe I’ll grow it out now lol. I want to get esp for my scalp issues tho, many ppl have had great and better experience with it for that ! My hair needs a lot of moisture too so it’s good to tweak things which I don’t think Bey and Ms Tina would want anyone to use something they don’t need. All brands are okay to use with what works. Thank you for being so detailed in your pros and cons too ! Not many neutral reviews get traction so glad to support you 🥰

I used this on my 4c hair..my hair was clean clean, soft shiny..but that's what greats about products..you can try and buy what works for you. I love reading and watching reviews on products and services I find them funny and interesting..but I always try for myself because what works for them, may not work for you vice versa 😊

I agree with you. However, in this economy and with the price point of these products- I’m just going to go with this young lady and pass. Now, if someone gives me Cecred as a gift- or it miraculously winds up in Marshall’s- then I will try it. But for now- my coins are telling me to stay with Shea Moisture, Mielle and Donna’s Recipe. 😊
