Thanks for the review. I see a lot of negativity towards Iqon, good to see some insightful thoughts after some solid use on the skates. I wonder how they compare to Faction Tactical V1s? Similar base carbon boot, removable liner, etc.

Thanks man ! And one difference is the carbon lower shell goes a little higher up than the factions making the icons stiffer feeling toe box is a little different as well both are great skates but the iqon takes the cake imo

@@kordel_alcorn_white The Factions address the soul plate mounting and the eyelets issue, right? I hear the Factions are pretty soft in the cuff. I'm curious about both boots, it all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day, but it can be expensive getting there!

Agreed, need more 42-43s!

@lifetimeshred Right?? Like if your gonna miss a shell size don’t miss that one ! 42/43 or 27/28 or us 9/10 is 100% the most common mens foot size especially in Europe and north America the fact that half the blade community is having to settle for sketchy downsize methods or putting a ton of extra crap in a too big shell is a joke imho

@@kordel_alcorn_white As a 278mm Mondopoint I also have been on a quest of collecting many different size US 9 shells and some US 10 shells and trying to find the perfect size. At least Razors and now Them provides internal shell dimensions which does help for sizing up a liner. USD and Mesmer for example has their US 8-9 shell with a 261-268mm Mondopoint liner but I can fit in the MyFit liners and shells perfectly fine so it seems to me they intend people to have a comfier and bigger shell because then they could just make do without pressure points versus taking a risk with potential pressure points from skates feeling too small or whatever a person's preferences can be which varies a ton.
