Machine made Cubans are harder to quality control compared to handmade, hence why one or two links might be off. You’re basically cutting quality for affordability but the chains still come nice from craftd I think

@redjayhead do you have a follow up on the Craftd london chain 3 months later? Is there any reactions on your skin? does the chain still have the luster?

I'm not going to lie, I was actually wondering if someone would ask me this haha! I can't believe it's only been 3 months. I will say that the colour on the chain has been lost a little, probably because I wear it at public pools where there is chlorine and also in the jacuzzi sometimes. The strength of the chain is still strong and the clasp is still working as it was before, so no changes there. It still looks like gold from a distance, but close-up, you can start to see a little of the steel colour. I went to POEPLE's (which is a jewelry store in Canada) and the price is So considering that insane price, I'm still better off with the CRAFTD, but you can expect for it to lose some coloring after a period time because it's only gold plated and I know they say it doesn't come off... but I'm not sure about that haha. As far as skin reactions, I haven't noticed anything wierd, but always be careful, everyone's skin is different. I buy necklaces from Walmart as well sometimes and I never have reactions personally. Random note: I stream live on twitch occasionally so if you ever want to come in my stream just to see it, that is no problem. No pressure though :)

@@ramblr5900 That's so funny! After I hit reply I was like... I probably should have mentioned whether I would buy again or not, but then I was too lazy to edit my original post lol. Honestly, nah, I don't think I would buy again. Not because I think another company is better, but I just wanted this particular thick chain to see how it feels like and I am satisfied with the experience. I want to buy a gold cross in the future, and I would probably get that in gold because I want it to be like a lifetime thing to add to the Costco chain I already own. The thing is, these chains that CRAFTD sell are great for someone who doesn't want to spend a sh*tload of money on necklaces, but they won't hold their value so that is a little annoying to me. Also, in general I'm a pretty cheap guy so I try and not spend money on stuff that won't make a huge difference in my life lol. But I did spend a stupid amount of money on Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards during COVID so I am not as strict with my money as I would like to be haha.

@@RedJayHead yeah bro! Did you buy those 25th anniversary trainer elite boxes? I randomly mistyped on Google 20th anniversary and those boxes are $500 so in five years the 25th anniversary value will moon to around $500 ish too?! I’m all about the original 151 Pokémon

@@Mannydas728 The colouring on it has left much more. It still looks Gold-ish but I stopped wearing it in pools and such cause it will just tarnish more. It looks more silver now. Otherwise chain still holds up and I still wear it from time to time. The gold plating doesn’t last which I kind of thought as much for that price 😅. Mid chain but perfectly fine if you want to save 2 grand haha!
