This video is a baby step to listening to So Hyang. She is, to many vocal critics, the very best female voice on the planet at this time. Very unexpected! Please is probably one of her most basic songs but i love it. Her version on begin again was perfect. What you shouldn`t forget that she sounds perfect and this is a raw live version, not one of the's wanna-be-lives which aren`t live you see in the kpop industry often. And she's sitting. As a first stage it might give you a weaker impression. But I assure you, she eats everyone haha. Please discover more of her this was like 1% of this wonderful lady and insane talent! Fun fact, she's on tour now for over a year, still going on performing not only her basic (still beautiful ones) but smashing things like "Oh holy night" recenty as well. She's THE queen of mixing btw. And she can do everything from ballad, to rock, to even rap!

Thanks for the sober analysis. We recommend normal videos, not direct cams. Disappointment must be corrected. Watching the current video in a situation where you don't know Sohyang performance and watching it without knowing it is misleading. To be honest, direct cam videos also affect the number of reaction views. There are numerous live cams and videos of her events. So, I recommend watching other videos at least once. Oh since you mentioned the TV stages.. there are many fan cams which are save! For Arirang Alone, Everyone, Lean on me, I have nothing.. all those Immortal Song stages have fancams. + She performs her songs at concerts as well, like recently bringing up O holy night again.. just ask the fans.

I mean no disrespect to your patreon member that recommended this song as an introduction because I don't know exactly what he/she has been exposed to as well. I have to say that this isn't remotely representative of Soyhang's range, technicality, flexibility, and I could go on and on. All I can really say is please check out at least a few more songs from her and give her an opportunity. 3 songs I would recommend are "Arirang Alone", "Everyone", and "Fate". In my opinion, these 3 songs will show you a glimpse of her range, flexibility, technical mastery, stamina, resonance, and above all else, her ability to draw you in emotionally to every song.
