Loved the tunes you were playing after the guitar review! The chugging is my favorite guitar sound, and it doesn’t matter if it’s fast or slow like Trouble. The review itself is great as always, Karol. Please keep doing these if it’s possible. Your review style is perfect!

@@ArtOfShredYT I have always loved the Gibson Explorer since seeing The Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs playing one in the 80's and have always passed on buying one but this looks great for the price..and the color of this one in the video is exactly like I would want one one to be.. Where did you find the scale length? I only ask because Amazon had to update the listing because the frets are NOT stainless as they were listed. I can not find specs anywhere that match. Also, it's an Ibanez Destroyer copy; not a Snakebyte.

I just purchased this exact same guitar, and was wondering two things if you don't mind... Explain scratchy pots and how you fix them please? And would you mind also letting us know what pedal you are using when you were playing the guitar near the end of the video? I love trying out the less expensive guitars that are on Amazon, and adding them to my collection. A lot of them are actually fairly good, though I've had to do some minor repair work on most of them. Mostly it has been a truss rod adjustment and/ or an issue with hum, which I have fixed through minor work on the fretboard, adjusting the nut, replacing the tuners, or replacing the strings themselves. Replacing the strings actually does a lot of good anyways, because they don't usually put the good strings (Ernie Ball) on there when they ship the guitar. Thank you again for this video!! It was not just helpful, but very informative. Oh... And I am also a huge Metallica fan!

Scratchy pots (when you twist a knob and get some static/noise) are usually a pretty easy fix! Get some Deoxit spray, spray it into the pot (not the knob, but the actual pot has a little opening that you can spray into), twist the knob around a few times, give it a minute ... test it. That usually does the job. You might have to repeat the process. If it ultimately doesn't work then you need a new pot. The pedal is not actually a pedal but one of the Positive Grid Tone Cloud tones. If you search Art of Shred in the Tone Cloud you can find all of my custom tones.
@jonathanweiss917Ай бұрын
thank you so much for answering my questions, and I will absolutely check out those tones, though to be quite frank, I'm not quite sure how I would implement those. But I'm sure I will find out! ✌️♥️🎸

It's pretty good it sets itself apart from Gibson a little bit different headstock and the body is slightly different than explorer, I like that that it's a little different. Looks like a good 300-350$ guitar to me. Would probably change out the pick ups I'm into the active pick ups. But anyway I usually don't replace the pick ups unless the pick ups in it really get on my nerves.

I have an Epiphone Casino knockoff (semi hollow body) electric guitar that I really love. It is a Hefagita (an Amazon purchase), which turned out to actually be a pretty good guitar! It is heavy though. Most of these guitars that I've purchased are solid mahogany, so they are not light. The semi hollow body is also very big... Probably the biggest guitar that I own outside of my Epiphone concert acoustic. Just thought I'd share my two cents with you lol
