I think that is one of THE most tonally versatile guitars I've ever heard. He did a pretty good job of demonstrating it's tonal breadth.

Jesse Pancamo I have played the RG350, but not an Explorer like that. I'm gonna have to say that the Explorer sounds more tonally versatile than the Ibanez to me. Of course, I'm no Phil X either. :)

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I love my S470 DVF. It's showing some wear and tear, but it's been a great guitar. It took me a while to warm up to the color and matte finish, but now I wonder why more guitars don't have similar type paint finishes. Hides the sweaty finger prints pretty well. :)

I LOVE Gibson Explorers!! I blame it on Matthias Jabs of the Scorpions lol Ever since I saw his white explorer with the black stripes back when love at first sting first came out, I had to have one. Well, after 31 years, I just bought a beautiful 1992 '76 reissue Gibson Explorer in Black with a white Pickguard. It's all original and in mint condition. I LOVE it!!!! Oh....I LOVE my cherry burst Les Paul too lol

I've seen every video you guys have made and I have to say that explorer is the best one I've heard bar the 59 les paul. Maybe its just the quality of the amps and the player but I really think that guitar suits Phil. It suits his playing style and he really looks comfortable with it.
