😂😂 The Sir David Attenborough voice over inserts were classic! Great video, cheers from South Africa.

At 4:26 you were holding an extension pole. It looks different to the Telesin Extension Monopod.

It’s the Telesin. Mine is just a slightly older model to what is available now

Nicely done Ian. I carry a small 'silky' washable lens cloth with me and handle filter installation and removal using that, as it seems to completely avoid finger prints on lenses and filters. As to losing filters, well stuff happens and they are cheap enough to have spares or replacements I guess. Most of the time I leave a new generation KEF circular polariser attached, as it gives a little bit of ND and is really useful in controlling reflections and colour density. It's also thin enough that the camera parks in its proper closed position with the filter still attached. I agree with others, your Attenborough voice over is superb, as indeed is your beautiful filming and thoughtful narration. Top! 😎

Thanks Ian, really like your approach to making your videos. I’m in two minds with the p3 but would definitely like one, the price, but your comment on the combo pack has made me rethink. 👍

I’d put the savings from skipping the combo towards a high quality lav mic

Hi! Have you ever encountered an issue where the Mimo application disregards the orientation lock setting on the phone ? This is a deliberate choice by DJI across all devices, and they've been ignoring user feedback on this matter for over a year now.
@Ian.A.Anderson2 ай бұрын
A few times the app loads the wrong way around for me. So yeah it could be down to that

Hey bro, saw your vids about osmo pocket 3 they are really good, but I've a question. I create fitness type vlogs, talking head vids, reaction vids and I've budget of around $1000, and I'm kinda confused between zve10 ii and osmo pocket 3, please guide me and lemme know which one is better for quality content. I'd be really helpful.
@Ian.A.Anderson4 ай бұрын
The pocket 3 benefits are for on the go vlog scenarios. If you’re creating fitness videos it will assist you keeping you in frame by tracking you. I haven’t looked into the zve10ii so can’t comment

Thanks for the review of the Pocket 3 and the insight into food influencers. I will not be purchasing the pocket three as I would only have limited use for one nor will I post pictures of my food on social media. I do enjoy your content. Cheers from Wisconsin, U.S.A.

I bought the P3 for stills. Which some would argue would be a waste of time. I was so disappointed in the raw files. Seriously disappointed. But I kept trying. It wasn’t until I accidentally started editing JPEG files in Snapseed , wow ! The JPEG’s can hold up really well . And viewing them on my 65inch tv they looked fantastic.

I have the Osmo Mark 1 and my mate has worked his way from the Mark1 up to the Mark 3 along with amassing 60k subscribers along the way and making a living out of KZbin while I drive around town balls deep in vomit and other such excreted nasties. Am I Jealous? Too right I am, that Osmo 3 is a beast of a camera. And every time I touch my Credit card it burns my hand saying "You know you want to. Do it, DO IT!" I've been giving it some serious thought over the last couple of months and I keep coming to the idea that I only need the camera. I have the Rode Wireless II so there is no need for the DJI mic, even though it works flawlessly. If I was to get one filter, then it would be the Black Mist filter. Out of curiosity, have you used the Mist filter with your Osmo 3?
@Ian.A.Anderson4 ай бұрын
I have the Freewell pack and the mist filter in that is really good. Especially during sunset/ sunrise
@frankinblackpool4 ай бұрын
@@Ian.A.Anderson I experimented with a Pro Mist filter on my GH6 last winter filming the illuminated trams and really liked the results, so I'll be repeating that again this illumination season. Most likely get one for my drone as well. Still not touching mLog with a bargepole ever again. You can see how good HLG is with my flight round Blackpool Tower at sunset. I was able to pull out so much information to make the Belt of Venus pop.
