Hi Ian, FANTASTIC vid with some amazing ideas, very well presented and I like your scoring system. Just purchased a case, card holder and new screwdriver ! As a new clueless newbie your suggestions did make a lot of sense. Keep up the good work. Take care. Len. Plymouth UK

Wow. Trully impressed. So tired of convetional drone channels. To be honest even dron footage seemed less atractive. But this. This was superb. Great pace. Great lighting. Tastefull. Really.

Great video for someone who is about to upgrade from a Mavic Pro Platinum dinosaur to the Mini Pro 4. The Attenborough segment pushed me over the edge before a future doomtuber might put me off. Subbed and liked. (not the only reason I subbed, but was low key hoping it would roll your count to 6K. Congrats when it happens!)

Hey, buddy. I know it's a little late into the games. I would appreciate a favor and ur thoughts. I flew Mini 2 and loved it. Well, it was about years ago. Now, I need a new one. Questions, should I skip the Mini 3 versions and go straight for the Mini 4 Pro? Is it really worth it? Can u please tell me how good the Omnidirectional sensors based on ur experience. Thanks. A big hug from Malaysia. 😎✌

Hi, there are strict rules to fly in Portugal/Madeira, , like being member of ANAC, get authorisation to film from the Nacional Aeronautic Authority, and authorizations to film on national parks and beaches...any HINTS on how to get those licenses/authorizations?

Excellent video, Ian. Great images of São Vicente. It's a beautiful location and one of my favorite spots on Madeira. I noticed that you are using red reflective tape on your drone. Have you found that it's been helpful in deterring birds from approaching the drone? Cheers!

Thanks John. So far so good with the red reflective tape!

I’ve had a few bad experiences with flying with louder fpv drones and people saying something but most people actually are really interested and when you show them the rc view they love it. Just fly responsibly, respectfully and legally and you won’t have problems.

Marvelous! Personally my knees knock together when I fly over water or off the edge of a cliff and in the event of both at the same time, it's as if I have never flown anything at all, the stick shake has to be seen to be believed. Well done Ian on yet another cracking and beautifully filmed story. 😁

Drone Scene and the Grey Arrows Drone club behind Drone Scene are awesome and a great community of mega helpful people who have aided in me getting more confidence with flying and editing of my footage too. Its always great to get feedback from knowable people and having details about previously flown locations also helps. Great video Ian

I used to get anxious but after a few months I’m much calmer. Yesterday I wanted to go out but it is the school holidays and I knew there would be a lot of people about. I decided to go anyway as I’ve never been bothered by anyone before. While I was flying the drone I was aware somebody came and sat on the bench next to me even though there were lots of vacant benches. Then came a cough and a ‘hello’. It was a lady with her son about 8. She explained he was interested in drones and wanted to ask some questions. I showed him the controller then brought it into land so I could answer her questions. I think she wanted me to let him have a go but there was no way I was going to do that. Pleasant chat though. I did notice thought that afterwards other people seemed to be much more aware of me with lots of looks but smiles as well.

Very entertaining-and instructive, Ian. I worry about most everything, but I don’t have anxiety-just a lot of worries. I find that when I am flying and people are around, they seem not to notice or even care. If I start to get concerned about how others are perceiving me, I just remember the words of my Great Aunt Kathryn, “Nobody gives a damn.” Cheers, buddy.

I think people have seen so many drones now they are bored. If I start making a vlog though people start sneakily recording me on their mobile phone

I've only had a few people come up to me and they showed a genuine interest in the hobby. If I ever get someone asking if they can fly it, my immediate response is 'do you have a drone pilots licence?' I know there's no such thing, but that will get them thinking twice. If they're still insistent then I'll be asking for a £1000 deposit before I hand the drone over.

There is nothing worse that somebody coming up to you while you are concentrating and trying to distract you. You have a mobile phone, nothing. You have an iPad, nothing. But have a remote control in your hand and they swarm around you like files on the proverbial. BTW a Darlek killed my Mini 4 within weeks causing me to use my Care refresh almost immediately. 🤣 It was part of an Illuminations Display on the prom.🤣

Hey bro, saw your vids about osmo pocket 3 they are really good, but I've a question. I create fitness type vlogs, talking head vids, reaction vids and I've budget of around $1000, and I'm kinda confused between zve10 ii and osmo pocket 3, please guide me and lemme know which one is better for quality content. I'd be really helpful.

The pocket 3 benefits are for on the go vlog scenarios. If you’re creating fitness videos it will assist you keeping you in frame by tracking you. I haven’t looked into the zve10ii so can’t comment
