This week I tried the Melissa Wood Health app and boy oh boy did I actually REALLY enjoy it!! I didn't know what to expect and was VERY overwhelmed after seeing that she had over 250 workouts to choose from (I mean how was I going to fit in everything I needed for one week and not feel like I was missing out on something???) Luckily, Melissa read my mind and set in place a schedule to put my mind at ease.
In this review, I cover COST, COACHING, CREATIVITY, & CONVENIENCE as we walk through my 7-day trial. Let me know if you have any other questions!!

How is this compared to Tracy Anderson method? Also do you think this is good for weight loss or just toning?

Thanks for the Q! I think its great for weight loss and weight management. She focuses heavily on mindset and therefore (for me) makes the class enjoyable and one I want to do again. Youll find that the weight loss will come with consistency so you have to find a coach/trainer/program that you actually like and look forward to! I would suggest trying her "New to MWH" class schedule :)

As far as the comparison - I haven't tried Tracy Anderson but I did see that she also targets the smaller muscle groups (low impact) to assist in a toned/lean figure. As a PT I think the best thing you can do is to have variety so adding in strength training (even with light weights) with either Melissa or Tracy would be a great option! :)

MWH WORKOUTS IS UTTER TRASH. BEEN DOING IT FOR A YEAR AND NO DIFFERENCE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I’m sorry you haven’t been seeing results :( It’s likely that with the MWH type of workouts you’ll be getting very slow and steady progress (much more lengthening & toning). It is proven that your body adapts to exercise as soon as you begin exercise - so internally your body will initiate processes that allow you to exercise more efficiently each time. If you’re looking to change physique a little quicker I’d suggest adding in 1-3 (15-30 min) HIIT workouts with light weights - you should see and feel a little more change after a few weeks!

Wow, I completely disagree, they are not Trash, If you like Pilates and a holistic approach it’s a great idea to just try it out
