Beadle was incredible intelligent, did an awful lot of work for charity behind the scenes, most of which the public are not even aware of. A true and gentle man who loved to laugh. Sorely missed.

Never liked his TV work but he was a radio phone in presenter genius. The real man came out there and a fascinating one it was too.

That's fair enough. You can take or leave his style and, let's face it, a lot of Beadle's TV work was of its time and now dated and annoying but you're right - Beadle, the man, was a lovely guy. Hugely intelligent and witty and privately donated over £10 MILLION to charity which was only announced after he died. I was at his last ever public function and none of us knew he was ill.

Fact is that Beadle was a great guy. TV Offal was a funny series but sometimes Lewis-Smith went too far. Rest in peace, Beadle. Those who knew you knew the real man, not the TV image.

People love to laugh at his hand.... You are all jerks my mum has Poland syndrome and it ruined her childhood because of jerks making fun of her hand. Well she showed them her biggest bully is a checkout girl while she is earning 40k with a degree under her belt she did all this at thirty with two kids on her own...
