You're right about Iloilo City and when you were leaving Boracay I knew you'd like it there. It's one of the probably top 5 places I'd want to live in this country. Being honest it's not all beautiful and new like the Iloilo Business Park section though. Just as most other cities it has it's older and not so nice sections. We get that even in Canada though with places like East Hastings Street in Vancouver which makes any place in the Philippines look good in comparison. Of the many places I've been my top favorites to live would be The City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Antipolo, Subic Bay, Iloilo, and Cebu, with honorable mention to Bacolod. Certainly I like the bigger cities, because I love (and need) my western style food on a regular basis.😆 My wife who grew up in Dumangas and is actually there right now would put Iloilo City right at the top of her list without any doubt.

You guys should visit the Iloilo Golf Driving Range. It's different from the one in Sta. Barbara, as it is not a full golf course. Here, you can only practice your golf swing by distance. The place is quite pleasant, and they also offer coffee. If I'm not mistaken, the cost of the game is 135 pesos for 40 balls. It is located at Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The river walk is nice too. Also, some good restaurants on the river front. Catching a boat over to Alobijod Beach Resort area for some snorkeling is nice too!

The only thing that’s missing are comprehensive plans for mass transportation. Mass transportation is the edge that other Asian countries have over the Philippines.

This was the 1st restaurant Bea and I ate at post lockdowns. We ate at the Bread Basket in SM the other day, and I had some amazing chicken tacos. Highly recommended!

Iloilo will soon replace Dumaguete as foreigners' retirement destination.. it is modern, has various great food options and has excellent government! Their politicians are one of the best, if not best, around the country.

The costs here are almost equal to BGC and Makati so I think for single guys they will prefer Dumaguete but for married men with families they will like it here

Of course Vikings is the largest but there is another we haven't been to yet but heard many things about called Yaki Mix, also we know there are some like Farm to Table and The Richmond and Zuri hotels have great breakfast buffets

Wow that's Ilolo now ?! 😮 , there's a lot of buildings now 😃 , i way back in 1997 the first building that I saw there was SM ILOILO and there's a lot of trees there before ,the road was rough and dusty going to AKlan 😁 and the only public utility vehicle was a singlle motor and old model Tamaraw fx and seats is made of wood my our butts hurts a lot for a long hour ride 😅 , tha port sea water was very clear which a like very much meaning no water pollution at that time 😊👌🏻🤟🏻💯%🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

So funny thing with me and her. My aunt went to a psychic about 2 years ago and the psychic mentioned me to her long story short, she said I would fall in love with a foreign Asian girl get married and have two twin boys with a different name I won’t mention. I said yea right!! I forgot all about it went about my life working too much and what not. A year later I went on Filipino Cupid and had over 100 likes and messages I then narrowed it down to one, one girl with a very different kind of name. Again I had forgotten all about my aunts psychic experience but when I told her the name she said omg 😳 it’s the same name as the psychic said literally and my aunt had it written down. Also this girl has one daughter and she had gone to a psychic when she was younger before her daughter and the psychic told her you will marry a foreign guy he’s tall with green eyes and you will have one daughter and two sons. Needless to say it’s fate and when we started talking it was like we’ve known each other our whole lives. And it’s not like all sweet all the time we argue we fight sometimes,it’s a very real relationship that has yet to be met with physical interaction.
