HONEST OPINION (DKM CLUTCH + BC RACING COILOVERS)

Here's a video of my honest opinion about my DKM clutch and BC Racing coilovers. I only really have 1 negative thing to say throughout this video, so please enjoy and leave some feedback or personal opinions. Thank you guys !

Any light weight flywheel will chatter

Romario Smith ahh thank you, cause I did not know that. I should have done more research. I mean I was aware of the clutch making the chatter prior to buying it, I just didn’t know why. I also remember when I had my Audi A4 I had a light weight southbend stage 2 and it didn’t chatter. I just assumed.

This video shows how little you know about clutches. The clutch chatter you’re getting is because you are using a single mass flywheel instead of the dual mass flywheel that comes on the car. It has nothing to do with the DKM brand. You honestly should have known this before you went SMF. Even SouthBend and other big brands, that use a SMF, have clutch chatter.

The one negative thing you have to say about the DKM clutch is the ONLY reason I don't wanna go DKM but the price is great. Idk if I should go RSR clutch with the DMF to reduce chatter or just say fuck it I could live with the chatter

The clutch chatter has nothing to do with DKM. Any SMF clutch kit that you install into an OEM DMF car is going to have clutch chatter.

So is the chatter really only during idle or during driving as well? I'm about to buy a stage 1 for my '06 A3.

How did the pedal feel after break in? Lighten up at all? Mines really heavy right after install

I have 150 miles on mine with the o34 dog bone inserts upper and lower an the vibrations with this clutch an inserts sucks I hope it gets better because it makes it really hard to drive when taking off from a stop I’m stage 2 any time I’m at 2k rpms or under just tons of vibration I’m hoping by the time I get to 500 miles it’s atleast qualified for daily driving cause right now I’m missing the rsr I had in my mk6 an I think it’s mostly the dog bone an getting used to a single mass when going the clutch is great but from a stop it’s bad in my car atleast
