You’re spot on with a lot of these pros and cons. Especially the time it takes to build a business. It is not fast for many of us. But the potential is there to make excellent money! I would also suggest newbies get a business email AND PayPal that is just for OS or business. That way taxes can be pulled quite easily. It was hard to sift through all my PayPal transactions and pick out all my OS income. This year I have a business PayPal and I’ll just need to pull one report. Thanks for a fun video! I know all this stuff, I just like your channel lol

I’ve always had a separate email. Makes it so much easier.

But don't they automatically use your PayPal email? Does that mess things up?

That’s a good question! I’m not 100% sure but maybe it’s best for new online teachers to create a new PayPal account using a new email as well. Was your paypal email automatically connected?

You could also create a filter to label all your outschool emails and bypass the inbox. Keep them unread in the filter. If you're using gmail, you can see a list of your labels on the left column. It will be bold if there are unread emails. That way, you won't have to log into a separate email account. Thank you for your content and sharing your knowledge!

Hi, quick question if i may. Requirements state applicants need to reside in the US so does that mean US citizens living abroad can't apply? Sounds like it does. Thanks 👍

That is correct, I know they have a few countries that you can reside in (like Canada, Australia etc) but if it not one of those countries you cannot work for Outschool. It has to do with their background check policy.

Hello! Thank you for the video! I'm just planning to start outschool courses, and one question came to my mind: how does the school limit the ability to just go to zoom with your teacher, leaving the outchool platform? 🤔

Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼 So Outschool simply states we can’t take students off the Outschool platform. You could risk your status as an Outschool teacher.

Yes, September is pretty slow for many teachers. In the last two years September was always my lowest. It usually picks back up in October once students have a good back to school routine.
