Parikh Sir; you stated valid points in this video..I can truly relate to the current scenario...yeh time recession+high level competition ka hai and getting ta job for a fresher is really tough and demanding BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE! I'm a self taught Developer and I come from a Bsc, MSc backgorund in Geology (Non IT) and have a year gap of 5 years...phir bhi recently I cracked a Web dev psoition as a fresher in a startup during this scenario of recession...market standards ko dhyan rkhna padega kyuki pay scale utna nahi milega but getting into the domain should be 1st priority.....Skills ke saath jigda bhi chaihiye aise time pe khudko challenge karne ke liye..All the best....Godspeed! 🙏

You can use javascript. But in apti rounds there are programs written in cpp, so you should also be familiar with cpp code too. Javascript will definitely give you an edge over others in off-campus hirings, particularly in startups, because they focus on your proficiency with language being used in their codebase, and usually, it is JS.

With due respect, I am very sure that the market will improve but that will be very little change with current. 2008 and 2023 are similar in terms of recession, but recession is not the only reason this time. The rise of generative AI ( if you would have used GPT 4 you know) will be giving a better options to companies to reduce cost. Teams will be reducing size in future from 10 to 4, or if some companies prefer to keep 8, the pay will be very low. This is not just for web developers but for AI engineers as well. No one knows how the things will gonna work out, but its a very challenging time ahead. Also, the demand will be lesser is future, and supply will always increase, as we are producing 2 million engineers every year. So less jobs , more unemployment and lesser pay. The value of expertise is gonna reduce or will be devalued, then the question is what will be valuable ? I think the stuffs which AI can't do like decision making, spirituality, personality, this things could be more valuable.

The truth is that the impact of AI is irreversible. Now you will need less and less people to do the same thing. The job which required 10 developers, now need 2-3 developers. Same goes for testing. And I think it is only going to become worse. This is the situation when AI is not so mature. Think about the situation when it becomes little mature. Maybe we will not need developers at all in future. And you are right this is not happening for first time. But this time the reason is completely different. IT will grow for sure, but not jobs. I mean why someone would hire a pile pf coder when a bot can do same thing. Job market is not going grow in IT. May be a new kind of jobs emerge in future. I am not trying to scare anyone, but that's the reality of current situation.

Non cs Background 2020 passout 💥 I have 2 YOE in a support job, and want to resign and upskill for 6-7 months as I dont have good dev skills right now and crack a better opportunity, is this a good option in your opinion, I am aiming to work on DSA + System Design + Development (MERN + Nextjs + little bit of basic Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps). I have done decent skill of dsa and web dev so I am planning for MLi am little confuse is good choice or not ?

I was selected in 2022 in Infosys till no update after that I I learnt Java and Android development with Kotlin but no one gives me job(not even 5k per month job) after that now I am getting frustrated and took a mechanical job(12 hr a day) and salary is 9k only. The whole IT sector disappointed me.

Bro try in steel design you will get basic 15k salary but there is good growth in it.Apply for tekla or SDS2 Software

I am 9 y exp functional, api and api automation rest assured test engineer, I cannot find any job for me currently. Do I need to switch my domain? Please suggest whether I switch to data analyst...dataBricks, SQL,python,powerbi or stick to api automation and functional testing? Please give your opinion
